I will code up your indicator for a flat fee of $1000 per platform.

So far the development process is going smooth, the indicator is already developed (not released yet) for the following platforms:

    Metatrader 4&5
    Ninjatrader 7&8
    Sierrachart

Some headaches figuring out all these different (yet similar) coding languages but seems like things are going forward.

Coming next : tradestation and esignal.

Again please feel free to write here your preferred platform, the more the better!

With all due respect, you're going about this all wrong... You're developing products that you don't know there is a market for. It shouldn't take you more than a couple hours to code the indicator for any platform that is worth using....you can respond to demand as it's generated. No one who has chimed in here thinks your product is marketable at your price point..so what are you doing? Not trying to be an ass...just trying to save you from wasting your most valuable asset

No you are right about the price, that price (500usd/month) was specifically thought for really professional traders, and i mean traders that trade hundreds of millions of dollars on a daily basis, to them 500usd is just insignificant amount of money.

I know that keeping a high price for non professional traders would be counterproductive, as majority of them cannot afford high prices.
The good thing about non pros is that they outnumber the pros, so even keeping price low can bring good profits (because of big number of subscribers).

Really this price thing is still not decided, now I'm working on developing the product, once development is complete I'll think about a good price tag, i can't ask advice because you would need to see the product before think about a price, but ok we'll think about it later

You are getting pretty good advice from several people; TT is hands down best platform for pro traders/execution/hedge trading and great with writing code etc... and is a very "pro" platform, I agreed about meta a few comments back.
I will say (as a professional trader) $500 is not only very expensive and I mean expensive, but if you think you have something worth that then you keep it yourself and run it and crush it. Also I don't know too many hedge fund owners or high net worth traders or even just good traders that would pay that b/c they know how to trade and have their own thing/model etc... but now lets try to imagine the rest of particpants paying $500/month.
I see this as a service, lower price-take it everyone (platform) to buy like tradestation and go for volume on your sales.
*I skimmed through this discussion so I apologize if I brought something up that had already been deemed decided.

Oh and I agree with I believe "bizros" about metatrader especiallly with launch of futures trading in 5, my fund actually opened an account with it and great execution so I see success.

Best platforms (even if 1/2 a broker)
    TT
    CQG and data
    TWS by IB
MarketDElta especially now after merging the trading part with CQG platform and CQG IG for $199/month
    QST-depending on style
    CTS
    OEC
    Multi

Thank you for your great reply, it's full of useful information and insights.

I must ask you a question, but please keep in mind in no way i intend to offend you or be rude, i just need to understand.

You say you are a pro, this mean (i guess) trading is your job and/or you do trade for a bank/fund.

Yet, you say 500$/month is expensive.

I am not a pro, never worked for or managed funds of big institutions, however as a small fx retail trader i started from a few k usd and grown them, i don't trade anymore but in the good times 500usd was half of the commissions/spread costs paid to place every single trade (and i placed many trades everyday as a daytrader). And yes all my "success" in trading is thanks to my indicator btw.

Now i read "$500 is not only very expensive and I mean expensive", perhaps my ideas about "pros" are exaggerated, i would really love to have access to some information such as "average account size" of various platform users, because right now I'm very confused.

Very well thought out review. Looks like your review does not match other users experiences with it.
