The system has been rigged by the providers, the insurers and the govt to extract as much money out of the pocket of people as possible. Like student loan programs and the cost of college tuition. By using and to some degree creating bad govt regulation the providers and the insurers use the "emergency of health" inelasticity of demand to rip as much money out of the hands of patients as possible.

Only NT Brokerage is accurate per instrument as they own NT, the other accounts are usually missing or have a fixed value. fine. But what does that have to do with my statements?, which whether right or wrong were self consistent. There is only two main points I made: 1) We have not recognized that the nature of medical care precludes, i.e., makes impossible, the operation of a free market in medical care, and therefore, by extension, a "free market" solution to the problems of U.S. medical care is impossible. (I am saying exactly the same thing here again that I said previously, just choosing different words with the hope that it can sink in this time.) Then I went on to add that the problems attendant medical care in the U.S. won't be fixed (meaning in my lifetime of course, who know what will happen a million years from now!) And I explained why they won't be fixed. That's it. There is nothing inconsistent with incompatible with "no free enterprise solution" and my "won't be fixed" opinion. That's all there is to my observations and opinions. Nothing more. What i did NOT say was that the U.S. Medical care problems can not be fixed. In fact I said the opposite. I pointed out that the solution was right in front of our eyes.
