I think third party is someone like Perot. The only time a third party had a real bearing was in 2000 when people in Florida got confused and voted for the wrong guy.

he states the “near term” economy which is objectively doing well. He doesn’t look at polls, which might make sense because people’s perception of the economy skews heavily along party lines.

he acknowledges the foreign policy key is tricky and Gaza is the reason.

Green Party is nowhere close to polling well compared to other elections, RFK on the ballot in Wisconsin and Michigan is a bigger worry for Republicans than Jill Stein or Cornel West.

Green Party comes into play when there is a big chunk of undecideds like in 2016 and in 2000 when Nader ran a good campaign, Stein and Cornel West are nowhere to be seen in polls in this cycle.

  4. I know many think of someone like Perot as the only 3rd party threat but when Democrats by their own admission say the Green Party cost them 2 of their last 3 presidential election losses and 3 of their last 4 a week from now many including Lichtman will finally get it.

  6. Stein polled at 2 % in NY Times final poll, she got 1% in 2016.Her and West are polling at 1.5% in aggregate on RCP,and I think the polls are underestimating them.

  7. Jill Stein leads Harris, Trump among some Muslim-American swing state voters, report shows

The Green Party's presidential candidate, Jill Stein, is drawing more support from Muslim voters in swing states than Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, a report shows.

    Fernando Cervantes Jr.

    USA TODAY

A new report from the Council on American Islamic Relations shows Green Party candidate Jill Stein leading Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump among Muslim voters in some swing states.

With the 2024 election shaping up to be the closest in a generation, vital minority groups like Muslim Americans in swing states could be the key to winning or losing the White House.

The report released on Sep. 9 showed Stein leading Harris and Trump among Muslim voters in the key states of Arizona, Michigan and Wisconsin. In Arizona, Stein had 35% of Muslim voters while 40% of respondents in Michigan and 44% in Wisconsin signaled their support of the Green Party candidate.

Stein’s large support in Michigan could prove to be a headache to the Harris campaign as she tries to rebuild the coalition President Joe Biden had in 2020. The state is the home to Dearborn, the city in the United States with the highest per capita population of Muslim-Americans in the country.

people got confused by the ballot in 2000 and lots of protest votes by extreme liberals in 2016. Unlikely to see either this time.

Hillary can blame everyone she wants but she lost it without a third party.

Axelrod warns Cornel West bid could tip election to Trump

Democratic strategist David Axelrod said the Green Party bid by academic Cornel West could draw votes away from President Biden, leading to a victory for former President Trump.

In 2016, the Green Party played an outsized role in tipping the election to Donald Trump. Now, with Cornel West as their likely nominee, they could easily do it again. Risky business,” he tweeted.
