  1. I am independent and just voted for Zeldin for NY Gov and all Republican. I normally couldn't care about voting since in NY it is usually a waste and Democrat autopilot win.

This entire election is as easy to project as it ever gets.

  2. I predict a Republican sweep with 51-54 GOP senators. NV and GA will flip. I'll go with 53, expecting a close win for Hassan. PA, AZ, and NH are the ones in play. The Democrat's best chance to hold a chamber is to have a runoff with Walker, because I don't think Warnock can win it outright. In all honesty, all of these contests would be much easier if the GOP simply had more reasonable candidates. Masters, Bolduc, and Oz are awful and Walker is possibly the worst candidate I've ever seen (definitely the dumbest).

  3. I think that's what it will come down to. The Democrats really should have focused more on fighting inflation. Abortion and election integrity issues might gin up the base, but the swing voter is going to vote on rent/gas/groceries.

It's clever marketing, and he is a clever con man.

His cult knows what the announcement is, but the week of waiting creates some suspense, some uncertainty that if things don't go well today his announcement may not be all they hope for.

The beauty of climate change and ecological overshoot is that with every passing year the cost of maintaining the current stock of capital rises, for repair, or replacement. We will grow steadily poorer every year, in fits and starts, and the administration of the time will take the blame.
