Poll: Will Germany back the ECB plan?

Discussion in 'Wall St. News' started by trading1, Sep 7, 2012.

  1. If Germany comes out saying "Nein" to unlimited bond buying, what effect do you think this'll have on the market, can they cobble together some other kind of solution?

  2. Merkel has already endorsed it.

  3. True, though the bundesbank, MPs,media and the people have not, and this includes pending court cases against the ECB, its not over yet.

  4. Agreed.

But yes, if one or more of these go against the powers that be, they will indeed just cobble together a work around. They are rigging the outcomes as much as possible and where they cannot rig them, they work around them with new bailout funds, IMF programs, supplementary treaties, secret deals etc.

Merkel says "We want more Europe."

I expect that it will all explode in their faces eventually but not this year.

One way it could go wrong faster is if the politics in Greece or even Spain get out of control and they default.
