    Good points.
    Jesus Christ also likes Proverbs.
Strangely, i noticed some business people that don't read Proverbs, but still do Proverbs.

I checked "other", not seeing anything on the OP's list that matched the viewpoint that Jesus represents the descended aspect of our own selves, whereas his Self in his former glory represents the original aspect of ourselves, a Self to which we will eventually ascend (return)...not as individuals, but rather, as that One Self.

With this new information, anything that applies to Jesus may apply to our own selves. And conversely, anything that applies to ourselves applies to him. This is the basis of such statements as: "Do unto others as you would do unto your s/Self".

Thus, his origins apply to us. If he existed, before time began, in some former glory, then so did we. This is the basis for such sayings, that, "I am Going to My Father and Your Father" . If there is only one proverbial "son", then, this means we are/were exactly the same as Jesus, in his former glory. More than just the same, actually the same b/Being, what i sometimes call "Christ".

Thus, his method of salvation applies to us. That is, the way he escaped from hell ("i have overcome the world") also applies to the way we can, and must, escape from hell.

Thus, the reasons he descended into hell are the same reasons we descended into hell.

Thus, his conditions in hell were the same as our own conditions. He did not experience divine privileges that we have not experienced. He was tempted by the proverbial devil, so to speak, and so have we.

Having found the way, he did not experience any divine privileges that we too cannot experience. This is the basis of such sayings as, "The things i have done, you will do too, and even greater things."

Therefor his destiny is inextricably our own destiny, once we too find the way (out of hell), and agree to follow it. Given enough time, all will agree, and hell will be emptied, returning to the nothingness from which it came. This is the basis of such sayings as, "the gates of hell will not prevail", against the re-establishment of the original Self. Cannot keep the message out, and cannot keep the prisoners in.

The crucifixion, in keeping with this theme of reciprocity, is the symbol of the conditions of hell. It symbolizes all our conditions as we carry our loads in our daily grind. The cross symbolizes what hell is to the original Self (Christ), and what hell does to the original Self (Christ). So it is symbolic of what hell is doing to us: killing us, but first torturing us, in 101 uncomfortable ways.

The resurrection, in keeping with this theme of reciprocity, symbolizes our release from hell and it's conditions, in due time. That time could be anytime. For Jesus, it was 2000 years ago. For us, it could be the day we too, accept for ourselves, the identity of our original Self (Christ), as who we are. This is, "the way".

The former Self, the original, is "without sin". The descended selves are sinners. This is why the acceptance of the original Self washes away all sins. When they are washed away, we are released from hell.

All washing, so to speak, is phycological. One must groom one's mind to prepare to accept the truth about our original identity, what i sometimes call "Christ", but which has no name.

Acceptance of the mind of Christ re-establishes the power of that mind, most importantly, the power to prevail over the physical phenomenon sometimes called "this world".

Oh, and if he felt no pain during the crucifixion, neither do we need to feel any pain, if we accept Christ as our Self. This functions to wash away guilty feelings hiding down in the psyche, which manifests as physical pain. In other words, if we marshal his own state of mind, we too will be safe from every kind of threat...until we too reach our own awakening (resurrection).

So yes, he was a good teacher, but was also a student for a while. His Teacher was the True Self, invited into his mind to teach him. His history is ours, he himself being an aspect of the proverbial prodigal son.

Having invited his True Self into his own, partitioned section of the otherwise unified mind, he invited the True Self into our mind, despite our efforts to maintain partitions. The light of the True Self is spreading throughout the pseudo partitions, which are not really partitions at all.

  3. If you take people like Copperfield, Blain and Brown and teleport them 2+ thousand years in the past, they could possibly gather a strong following.
