  1. .........................................

    Nope....not fair...

    Here it is....

    ........................................

Three people walk into a drug store.....

    Buy $1.00 Toothpaste

    One pays 0% tax....pays $1.00

    One pays 20% tax....pays $1.20

    One pays 35% tax....pays $1.35

Now apply this to much more costly items....

    Current system fair...?????

    Nope

The US to some degree already has a
    hidden indirect consumption tax....

    Never ????

    Black US president
    Jets
    Cars
    Rockets
    Electric cars
    Worldwide direct access exchange

    Never say never......

    .............................................

10000% Correct about the spending issue....

Govt. must downsize commensurate with the economy....

    one pays $1.53 (1.00 / .65)

  4. 1000% Correct.....

    Thank you....

And actually even worse when one adds
legal largess....which is an ongoing unknown....

  5. I prefer Ronald Reagen's top marginal tax rate of 70% for all income above $175,000... and hell who didn't love those deductions for yachts and planes and second homes with Ronnie.

It wasn't until 1987- 88 that the top marginal rates began to come down to about what it is today ... sans all the great deductions we had back then.

  7. .................................

    Nope...

    Just a straight 15% tax....that´s it....

    No income tax....

    No paper work...

    Nothing....

    ..........................................

    You use it.....you pay it....

    Everyone pays something....

    ..........................................

More than 47% and climbing pay no income tax today.....

Accounting takes on a new role....

  8. And here is the really big reason....

What portion of all product prices is due to the tax take ?

What portion of all product prices is due to legal largess...?

Now is it not obvious that when taxes increase ....that product prices have to be higher ?

    Next item....

The US must be competitive head on with prices with BRIC.

The right tax structure is most definitely the road to success for the USA.....

Legal largess must also be reduced.

    ....................................................

So the US has a choice to make.

And this is a yes/no question.....

Dear USA.....do you want to establish more advantages versus your peers....or do you want to grow up just like the major high tax Euros....

The Swiss have their act together.

The Swiss do fine on a much lower tax structure and has one of the highest quality of life rankings in the world.

    So YES THE US CAN........

    If it wants to.....

    My apologies....I see.....

I did not do the Reagan one....

But did not appreciate the ¨Gore¨tie breaker.....

    .....................................

But for sure all downhill since the last 20 plus years....on all counts....

    Lots of smoke and mirrors.....

Time to make it simple and clean....
