  2. It's not coming back.

    The game has moved elsewhere.

  3. None of the above. The retail trader/investor is gone. Now just machines trading against each other.

  4. Dumb asses who dont trade just wont stop commenting!!!!!!!!

It wont be back anytime soon, all the volume you see on the exchanges is all the HFT's, all the little investors are done with this game...

10 minutes before the market close and volume is way, way off.....
lucky to do 40% of the average volume.

    SPDR S&P 500 (SPY)

    Volume: 59,183,684
    Avg Vol (3m): 156,869,000

  7. who cares about volume. we need volitility.

  8. Anemic volume. Volatility drying up. Can't trade if there is no counterparty.

It will take an exogenous event to wiggle things loose I suppose.

  9. An "Elite trader" knows what to do already:

    adapt.

    1. already have HTF systems in place, this was obvious years and years ago it was happening...maybe 10+ years.

    2. find markets that are moving, or stocks. trade them. size

    3. you should have made tons of cash during the big moves earlier in the year.

    4. keep your guru website up and sell subscriptions all day....use that money and tell your sheep, "slow day, don't worry, give it a few more months......"

  10. Volatility is unlikely with scopious low volume
