  2. External orders showing up on my screen then freezing up trading futures with Transact/ Trademaven. They never found out how the orders came to be. At least that's what they told me. Closed the account that week.

  4. I was really stoned and mad at my losers during the day. I kept trading even though I couldn't see straight :( :(

    Fat Finger. I typed a futures price into a valuation spreadsheet that was out by 100 points, then proceeded to fire off about 2500 mispriced orders, half of which executed instantly. Down about a hundred grand in the space of 10 minutes, mostly due to IB autoliquidating me with market orders.

    The feeling is kind of like having your limbs fall asleep, being kicked in the nuts, punched in the gut and getting the wind knocked out of you, all at the same time.

  8. Au contraire. My wife won't let me have her password. For example, in her account I bought GOOG on the first day and sold at $170 because I was an expert on charts. Most recently, since I am an expert on IPO's I bought FIG in her account. She said "you sell that shit and stay the f out of my account" hahahaha. She makes me laugh.
