What a naive and foolish post! But at least you conceded the truth about oil, which is more than what the other detractors have done... and so I will give you credit for that... It is clearly wrong to steal other people's oil, in particular if that means murdering thousands of Iraqis to do so... Grow up!!
Just a quick note to thank all participants (both those with pro-war and anti-war views) for making my thread a highly read and posted to thread... the views and replies this thread has received must have made it one of the most popular on ET... thank you gang! And God Bless America!
candle, are you mocking the USA with your waving flag and smartass comment? what great country are you from?
Brother Gekko, No, I am not mocking America! I love America! We all do! My contention is with US foreign policy, dearest brother... God Bless America and God Bless Gordon Gekko!... Love, Candle
I wouldn't have a problem with wearing such a T-Shirt if Saddam's death was a clinical CIA assasination and if the Iraqi people were allowed to keep and administer their oil reserves with no US interference... but what about the thousands of innocent Iraqis who are going to be murdered in the pursuit of oil by America... that's no joke...
I shall only give some examples of issues and questions that need to be answered, and I turn first to the sector of chemical weapons. The nerve agent VX is one of the most toxic ever developed. Iraq has declared that it only produced VX on a pilot scale, just a few tons, and that the quality was poor and the product unstable. Consequently, it was said that the agent was never weaponized. Iraq said that the small quantity of agent remaining after the Gulf War was unilaterally destroyed in the summer of 1991. UNMOVIC, however, has information that conflicts with this account. There are indications that Iraq had worked on the problem of purity and stabilization and that more had been achieved than has been declared. Indeed, even one of the documents provided by Iraq indicates that the purity of the agent, at least in laboratory production, was higher than declared. ____________________________________________________ His words, not Bush....and he wants more time?? time for what? I hadn't even heard of VX until this report...
