Babak, As you, and anyone can plainly see, I responded to a post by Wild about different leaders in different countries. Then I got my usual "attack" from you know who. So, I foolishly responded. Sometimes it is too much fun to ignore something. I see that you (rightly) have since deleted the posts that consisted of attack and defend. But you deprived me of my fun. I did exactly as my nemesis suggested. Got out my 1969 Ibis (U of M yearbook) and guess what? Not a single black player on the varsity or freshman team. Went to scan it, and my scanner is not working. So while I was on hold with Hewlett Packard (never did get through), the posts were deleted. But, the scanner WILL be fixed, and then MR. EXACTLY can explain to us all how he is more knowledgeable than I about who played at UM in my senior year. Only recognizable name on the entire roster is Ted Hendrics, who was a defensive end in college, drafted by and played for the Colts for a season or two (forgive my lack of EXACT recollection) and went on to be an all pro linebacker for the Raiders for many years. Now, as the "chit chat" forum is labeled, there is more to life than trading. So I ask you for your suggestion....where is the appropriate place to respond (if there is such a place) to these latest charges that are intended to challenge my every word or recollection? I did not ask for any of this. Read the post. How this madman keeps rehashing his tired old arguments is beyond belief. But am I not entitled to have some fun with his obvious lies and misstatements? (of course they are intentional on his behalf and serve a great purpose, unlike my not so perfect recollection, which makes me the scourge of humanity). But for now, while my scanner refuses to cooperate, I wonder if any other UM alumni have the '69 Ibis. And a working scanner. The team pictures and list of players for that year are on pages 190 and 191. In living black and white. (...all white as far as players, but I am sure there will be an outrageous explanation of how I am wrong about this). So, Babak, how do I make my case? How do I make a tongue in cheek announcement to run for President? How do I post to ET without being harassed and haunted? Should I just forego the truth and let an obsessive (serial numbers under cylinder number 3?) psycho just slide? Have I no right to post without having to be subjected to deletion of my words? My very harmless and in no way confrontational words? Is there to be no more discussion without worrying about how one person will construe my words as unworthy, and then have the moderators delete what I had to say because my posts can not be left for what they are? Either amusement, observation, or information. Peace, Rs7
How convenient for you that your post was deleted. Talk about "digression". Max, how about giving an opinion on the "repercussions of an attack on Iraq"? Or are the only attacks you are interested in the attacks on me? Please don't answer. (somehow I don't think you will grant me my request.....but how about surprising us all? Step out of character). Happy Hunting (it never ends).
I believe you brought up my name in your way off topic post about getting yourself elected. You know you also could step out of character once in a while... stop talking about yourself. Tell you what, I'll leave it you to open a new thread entitled "RS7 at UM."
Yes my amigo. But have you ever tried to "ignore" a swarm of killer bees? A plague of locusts? Head lice? But still, you are right. I will do exactly that. Peace, And a Very Happy New Year!!! rs7
Now, that would be stepping out of character. Or you could stop making up wild stories. And try using your brain for a change. Do you know why Chuck Foreman will not appear in a 1969 UM yearbook, even though he holds the record for Freshman rushing for that year? It's pretty obvious.
