1. On the money, freealways:

"This new century now challenges the hopes for a new world order in new ways. We will not defeat or even contain fanatical terror unless we can carry the war to the territories from which it is launched. This will sometimes require that we use force against states that harbour terrorists, as we did in destroying the Taleban regime in Afghanistan.

The chronic failure of the Security Council to enforce its own resolutions — 17 of them with respect to Iraq, the most recent, 1441, a resolution of last resort — is unmistakable: it is simply not up to the task.

We are left with coalitions of the willing. Far from disparaging them as a threat to a new world order, we should recognise that they are, by default, the best hope for that order, and the true alternative to the anarchy of the abject failure of the United Nations."

Article is completely pro-war against Iraq and others like her. Does Wild/msfe read the stuff he pastes or is he a complete idiot? I think it's a twofer, he's guilty of both.

  3. First, let me comment on "Maxigirl." Do you have a habit of calling males, girls?

Now, on to this ridiculous statement: "you´ll never get it" That's an easy way to not have to explain yourself. But let's just go on the stuff you're promoting, for example, you posted:

"We will not defeat or even contain fanatical terror unless we can carry the war to the territories from which it is launched."

Tell you what, I think I get this statement you posted a hundred percent.

"This will sometimes require that we use force against states that harbour terrorists, as we did in destroying the Taliban regime in Afghanistan."

Right on, Wild/msfe, I agree with this opinion that you posted.

"The chronic failure of the Security Council to enforce its own resolutions — 17 of them with respect to Iraq, the most recent, 1441, a resolution of last resort — is unmistakable: it is simply not up to the task."

Again, I agree with you; F*UCK the UN. At least until it's revamped.

"We are left with coalitions of the willing. Far from disparaging them as a threat to a new world order, we should recognise that they are, by default, the best hope for that order, and the true alternative to the anarchy of the abject failure of the United Nations."

No argument from me, Wild/msfe. Power to The Coalition of the Willing, which obviously must include you; you posted it.
