  1. Peace at any cost Candle Chamberland.

You think that Arabs and Muslims are going to take revenge for us going into IRAQ, I say they are going to finally see that a dictator can be disposed of and a real democratic government can replace the despotic rule of Saddam.

Revenge - you got to be kidding, the only people yelling and screaming are other Despotic dictators, and their contractors.

The Arabs on the street will benefit from it, but lets take a look at who does not benefit.

Terrorists - who want to buy weapons of mass destruction from Iraq

France - that has many contracts with Saddam

    Germany - same reason

Iran - that has a similar regime on shakey ground

Saudi - the princes will be a little less secure in their control of their "Family Wealth" and control of their "subjects" with IRAQ emerging as a Democratic Government.

Candlestick you are so silly, its almost hilarious, your skewed view of the world.

    You are a typical Liberal.

in the name of peace, free speech and democracy: stop all running elite threads on the Iraq question and ban all opinions that deviate from the official party line. invite Ari Fleischer to open and moderate the official objective Iraq thread. in order to avoid confusion, limit the number of acknowledged participants to 5: Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Perle, KymarFye and Hapaboy.

  4. LOL

That's a great idea! What say we implement it after you, Candle, Josh B and the other wishniks volunteer as human shields in Baghdad? And how's the view in the Swiss Alps? Must be seriously boring over there for you to be spending so much time arguing with us war-mongering Americans...

And Candle, you can be sarcastic all you want, but know this: After we've ousted Saddam, uncovered and destroyed the WMD which you so obviously wouldn't mind seeing used against your own country, helped install a democratic government and restored basic human rights to the Iraqi people, AND then left with nary a barrel of oil on our backs, your posts will remain on ET's servers as a reminder to hundreds, perhaps thousands of your peers that you were not only a complete and total fool regarding this subject, but that you had not one ounce of faith in your country.

even the remotest of Swiss valleys will be affected by the `nukular´ fallout of american democratization efforts in the middle east, let alone unexpected side-effects of liberation and implementation of human rights.

  6. Back to the gist of the thread, I am still wondering whether to get a gas mask or a bomb proof vest, lol :D

  7. :D Yup, let Oilfield, Wolfwitch, and Snarl moderate... yeeehaaaa!

God Bless America, our dual citizenship US-Israeli policymakers and our oil companies...

And let Ari "Bob" Fleischer, on behalf of the people of USA and Israel, summarize the official line as it develops, depending on how we perceive our economic interests are likely to be affected... LOL!

  9. Oh this one is a CLASSIC! You have just exposed your opposition to democratization, liberation, and human rights on the grounds that they will cause an un-specified type of "fallout" to Switzerland!

The "fallout" you're referring to must be some sort of loss of business for your financial institutions. How incovenient! Boo-hoo, sob, sniff. So sad!!

    ROFL! :D

  10. Hey Candle, traderfut, msfe, Fairplay, et al:

Did Powell's presentation do anything at all to pierce the veils of your smoggy craniums and illuminate in some small way the dangers facing the US and indeed the world?

Oops, I forgot, Powell must be part of the oil cabal, so everything he said must be complete fabrication. Those Republican Guard officers, well, you've probably figured out they were in fact Delta Force linguists with good Arab accents, and the satellite photos were really Legos sets...

Guess you won't be satisfied until at least a few thousand more Americans are dead, huh?
