51212 (4a) OK, we have a name calling thing. Odd again in that, if this person read the above, the obvious would come to him. "Again, nothing to do with our little treatise, but I think that if we were all honest with each other, that both sides use inconvenient facts. The liberal slant is easily read, of course. The right is seems to be the same, only louder, and perhaps too conservative in that we really want to win. We, as in conservative, are fearful of Obama, not vice versa. I just wish we had a better ticket than Romney. There, I said it, sorry friends. As I said, I can't vote for Obama, and may have to stay home. " We're probably on the same side, as far as voting goes, but somehow you seem so upset all the time, you don't notice that. I want Obama out too. Maybe for different reasons, not just hating the guy. Just not happy with his political direction. I'm not in some skirmish with you here. Your responses are standard and expected, of course, but not to me. Perhaps to the treatise, for some reason. I'm just passing things along.
http://allnurses.com/men-in-nursing/gay-male-nurses-365096.html "Hey, I'm going into a nusing program and I'm a gay male..." http://allnurses.com/male-nursing-student/gay-male-nurse-275468.html "...There are only 2 guys in my class of 25, and the other guy is married and I'm gay...."
I read a few of the posts. Honestly I don't think the stereotype of male nurses being gay is very valid. I remember when I worked for the VA, I would not treat a female patient one on one behind a privacy curtain. Most of the time these were female employees looking for workman's comp or other high benefit suits to take advantage of. I steered clear of that potential sexual harassment crap.
You take an escort with you if you must view a woman below the waist, especially if she is younger. Your aide will be your hands and you will guide her on what you need to look at. She will do the touching, you will do the viewing and the documenting so a proper diagnosis can be made by the MD.
A male nurse saved my bacon once in the emergency room. He questioned the incorrect order from a doctor and suffered 10 minutes of verbal abuse from that doctor before it was realized he was correct. It is difficult to relate that to the behavior manifested by RCG in this forum. I cannot know that RCG does not transform into a similar professional in-situ but the lying that he has done here brings serious doubt into my mind. But one can never know and I am certainly capable of error. That male nurse showed me pictures of his wife and kids and gave every indication of being heterosexual. I sent him tickets for our minor league baseball team so that he and his family could watch from an air-conditioned private box.
Glad it worked out for you. In a sense Dr's are never wrong. It's amazing how much deference is given to doctors in the professions it's downright FEUDAL. Even if you are right and the Dr is wrong it can be the end of your employment.
You are a dishonest liberal sock puppet. You have zero integrity and a are a loser in life. There is nothing more to discuss.
Like Mittens, 377, when faced with overwhelming evidence of his inaccuracies had to restate his position.
Here in this state, if the company backs you, the nurse can challenge the MD, and often we do. As far a verbal abuse, I have never experienced that. We can turn them in just as they can turn us in, so discourse tends to be more civil in this state.
