  1. Basically MBA is designed to educate students to work for a company. Not creating a company. There is no real business coaching happening there. The curriculum and the professors know nothing about the art of business.

Sons learn business from business fathers. This is where business coaching happens.

Some MBAs manage to run a business with their sales skills. They generally struggle to expand the business. It needs broader vision and better understanding about market and products to run business more professionally.

Fortunately trading platform is open and very transparent. Unfortunately everybody has become experts.

My simple point is "A picture tells more than thousand words." A chart tells more than loads of data. :)

  2. I doubt any BFA/MFA would know more about business than a MBA. I know a few MBA that have successful businesses. And trading has created many self proclaimed experts in their own minds, time for reflection .

  3. I am not recommending BFA/MFA to learn business.

Some business minds pursue MBAs and later they bring credits to the alumini when they ssuccessfully pursue business. MBA is a systematic bridge between employer and employees. No doubt about that. Hower MBA is more of science than art.

Creating a business needs some philosophy which we call as vision of the company. These visions and missions are creative channels that form the foundation and directs the business as a team.

That business philosophy is rooted in the insights about market which defines the uniqueness and success of the company.

This insight or intuition is a creative faculty. Thus business is an art of pursuing business philosophy.

Also this approach helps to focus and channelize all energies in one direction making it a powerful effort either in right or wrong direction resulting in solid understanding and scope to take corrective measures.

That is the power of single minded philosophy or principle which is basically an art.

A trillion super computers cannot come any closer to one genuine insight of a business genius.

Genius means intuition, insights and inspiration. All the three are creative faculties.

Without a solid philosophy the business will suffer choas.

Branding is a technology. There are big branding consultancies doing research. Basically branding works for the company's philosophy.

My vision statement is "never lose money". And my mission statement is "minimal hit rate of stoploss." This is where a trader has to bring his creative skills. One general solution is momentum trading. But it is just a beginning.

  4. I am sure you are aware that "time is money and money is time". FYI you're losing money wasting your time and other people's time by being verbose and convoluted in your semantics.

  5. I agree your logic if i am a robot. But human beings are a bit different from robots i guess. ;)

Regarding time utilisation, you cannot decide for others, right?

As per your logic a mother is the stupidest creature on earth to conceive and carry for nine months risking life and serving children until her last breath. What a waste of time, money, effort and life risk to finally find people talk like robots.

Conversation or communication is a gift to humanity. It is the only way to learn and grow.

Moderator, can you please verify if robots logging in.?

All the banter lacks one word in which one can be awesome at what they seek, "passion", people who have passion for what they make, play, trade, write are at a point of like Zen state where it is all. Does not matter what the environment says or thinks. When one has passion for the area of life, they put all of themselves into it, to get better at it for themselves, and when happy with themselves....nothing is better.

Peace and have fun weekend all.

B school proved very beneficial in corporate life, especially in the use of accounting, finance and business law but I can't think of anything it aided in my development as a trader.

  10. That reminds me of a childhood friend, Bob. Bob wanted to do everything, had all the passion in the world. But he couldn't tell which foot went first, or his left hand from his right. For many, passion is not enough. Then for others with skill and ability combined with passion will take them to the next level. Most professionals have all 3.
