  3. what does the HS diploma have to do with having a voice in how you are governed? they give those out if you just show up.

    are HS diploma's tied to high IQ's or better decision making??

    besides, the vote is for the individual to decide what is important to THEM, not what's important to YOU. Mr OP. That's what YOUR vote is for!

  6. I've always thought that in any democracy there should be a way of qualifying the voters just like you have to pass a test to get a driver's licence. The test should be fairly simple so that almost anyone could pass it. A booklet or such would be available for people to read so they could understand and pass the test.

    The questions in the test should ensure that the voters know what they are voting for. Something like, what is a billion vs a trillion. What is the difference between debt and deficit.

    The questions would be decided by the candidates from the previous election depending on how many votes they got. For example, if one of the previous parties in an election got 40% of the vote, they could decide upon what 40% of the questions in the test would be.
