I'll go first. Imagine a gym that once sparkled and is now slowly going into a state of disrepair. It is getting soiled at a faster rate than it is getting cleaned, where the staff is just going through the motions, while members seldom if ever return the weights to their proper place after use. Picture if you will a once vibrant city that its residents took pride in and that is now slowly being boarded up, one building at a time. Where its inhabitants can dispose of refuse in the middle of the street and those policing the streets just lazily look on, occasionally shaking a finger at the offender. Think of Tim Burton's Gotham City in his 1989 Batman movie. Is this where ET is headed?

  2. It's already there because it never was much. The problem is there isn't a decent trader site because trading attracts multitudes of losers from every walk of life hoping to get rich quick.

I turned to trading myself after being hit by a drunk driver. By the time I was fully recovered I was hooked by the money and the life style. The only downside is trading is lonely and often boring, so it's natural to seek out others.

However, more likely than not these "traders" are 16 yr. olds or losers looking to pick someone else's brain so they don't have to figure it out for themselves.

  3. Looks like opportunity not only knocked, but knocked you down! Glad you're okay and that you made the best of it.

Now that is a success story that needs to be "out there", if for nothing else but for inspiration it can provide to those earnestly trying.

Nah, they're just looking to pick their nose.

    Inspiration? Are you serious?
A nice fat insurance check can get anyone excited about the casino. Nothing like free money

  7. What do you expect when you look around and see threads such as 'looking to take $3,218.33 to $2,500,000.00 by year end' routinely appearing.

  8. Specifically? Can't include the politics forum because it has been shot to heck for a while.

  10. Appliance humor has to be timed properly. You can't just do it in a vacuum.
