Yes, the place which works hard at staying objective, as opposed to the liberal media (NBC, CBS, ABC, Times, Newsweek, etc etc) that's totally sold out to O's socialist agenda.

  4. Yes. After my thread earlier this year looking at the "value" of the various indexes, I couldn't get my mind off TF:

After making the necessary adjustments to accommodate TF (which incidentally enhanced my NQ setup frequency), I considered trading them both. The idea was that if I don't get a setup in one, I'll possibly get one in the other. However, they move quite similarly, although TF is generally more pronounced, and I found myself usually having to choose between essentially similar setup at the same time. I found that unnecessarily stressful. And so, I opted for one - TF. Perhaps I'll be able to follow them both in the future as I get more comfortable with TF, but not for the time being. I'm also looking at CL, but it's mostly just looking and no doing, for now. Setups for TF and CL are not quite as near-simultaneous as between TF and NQ.

  5. I agree it's a good market. I still like it, but I am going to trade TF for the time being.

  7. Gabfly, what are you trading now and in what timeframe?

What are your charts set to?

  8. Not really. Only guys like Hello, who post blotters to bolster their faltering political arguments, are successful.

  9. Thanks for sharing that. Interesting that the setup you've been trading on NQ for years (as I recall) is not idiosyncratic to NQ. The closely-related systems I am trading now in NQ are based on a presumably-universal principle I just visualized late last year in a dream. They backtest consistently, but the jury is still out. I have taken the Jackean approach of committing some profits to worthy causes (the Republican National Committee, the National Rifle Association and Rand Paul for President), so I am sure that the Bitch Goddess of the Markets will continue to smile on me.

  10. Sub-one-minute. But because of the fairly stringent, albeit readily observable, criteria I have established for my setups, the frequency is not quite what you might imagine for such a short time frame.
