  1. I am sure everyone noticed that you decided to once again turn the topic back to him rather than to reply to the original post directed at you. I guess that would mean you don't have much of an answer when you hold the mirror up to your own market ideas and past advertising efforts and are asked to prove your ideas as you are asking of him. See it is pretty easy to point a finger and demand proof that your ideas are valid. Too bad it makes for a circular argument that does not go anywhere since either no one wants to or they can't really prove what they are saying. I guess the real point is that it is pretty easy to demand from you every demand you are making of Charlie. Based on your logic then if you don't pony up to scrutiny too then all your ideas on market movement, trend, ect must be bunk too if they work so well and you are not willing to back them up. Obviously that conclusion does not make much sense either but gives you an idea of what you are asking of someone else.

  2. Just for the record I have not seen Charlie trade, don't know if it works or is teachable, or if anyone using it has been successful with it. However of course I would like to see the results of his trading if he does go through with his postings of trading results. It would be interesting to see if his method works as well as he says it does.

Since I post here mostly for entertainment value... I couldn't help but notice that the plot thickens:

Firstly, it is nice to see that Magna is doing such a fine job of protecting the poor marketsurfer (who by now looks more like a guy without shorts clinging to the rocks and yelling for the coast guard) from being washed out to sea... after all, there are big bad sharks that might eat him alive. I mean really- the prof wanted to "humiliate marketsurfer" and actually trade against him: thank god there is moral support from the upright moderator and protection of the innocent from bloodthirsty marketeers who have the audacity to actually offer to prove what they claim! I mean, really!

But there is the odd thing: about 25 minutes ago, there was a post from marketsurfer replying to mine when I refreshed... the post said that 1. MS would not trade against charlie and 2. never disclose his method because he did not need to prove to anybody bla bla bla or something like that

Then I came back and the post was gone, and still is. How does that happen? Who can delete a post? Only the moderator, right? So what happened- did surf ask the moderator to delete his last post after rethinking what he had posted?

    Somebody enlighten me....

    :)

why doesn't a moderator move this thread to chit chat? there has been no discussion about trend determination for 40 pages.

  8. Don't you think we would have to keep some threads outside chit chat forum?
