Today I watched Episode 1/13 Introduction to Abiogenesis // A Course on Abiogenesis by Dr. James Tour. I'm thinking about posting each video in this course as I watch them. They are about 20 to 30 minutes each, so I might only get through one or two a week. This introduction discusses early earth conditions and Dr. Tour cites several papers.
Are you following Prof Dave and his explanation of O.O.L videos to counter James Tour? Tour has been cordial answering in a honest way via email questions I had six years ago. Few men are willing to help a straggler at his level of the debate.
Thanks for the info. Here are Professor Dave's videos critiquing Dr. Tour's videos. The first one has less scientific jargon than the others. For some reason, Professor Dave's picture reminds me of a famous religious figure.
Thanks, it does a good job of simplifying abiogenesis. However, the wikipedia article is incorrect when it states: the occurrence of abiogenesis is uncontroversial among scientists... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis
Dr. Tour also has an open invitation to anybody to have a zoom chat with him if they are considering trusting in Christ. It's remarkable that he gives his time to help anyone. (Maybe we should recommend talking to him to some of the trolls on ET?)
He does seem like a nice guy who is passionate about his beliefs. And he could always get a part-time, second job leading an aerobics class.
