Ever blown out your account? Depends who's asking. In the book of Nutmeg, I can't stand to hear my wife screaming at me, so if she's asking, there's a warm and fuzzy chance I'd defer to Clintonese and say "No, I did not blow my account with that woman"
Most I lost was 20% of my trading capital when I was trading with 25k. I consider that a blowup in my book.
Never. But when I started trading I usually gave back my profits by trying to actively trade non-trending markets. Having had profits and then giving them back makes you feel much worse than never having profits. Pretty much like those who were rich and went broke, compared to those who were always poor.
When I was a complete novice I burned about 65% of my initial capital. I was a gambler, and not a trader.
