  1. One other point, which holds true in almost every case.

When you hear fund managers or traders talk about returns, and they are always round even numbers, like 100%, they are lying.

It might be 97.6%, 95.8%, etc.

You can tell they are not being accurate when they talk about the returns in round numbers.

There is an inverse relationship between bullshit and accuracy when getting a pitch from a salesman...

The returns are also often devoid of actual costs of trading, i.e. commish, fees, etc.

Don't trust anyone unless you see independent audited returns...

Additionally, we all know that trading a small account on one's own is not the same as managing money of others, the size becomes bigger, the attitude changes ("It ain't my money if I lose) etc.

Anyone who is foolish to give someone money to trade without seeing a genuine audited track record that spells everything out is a fool...

Just what Pabst is hoping for, an ET ship of fools to vampire pimp off of...

  2. Answer the question:

Are you a paid ET sponsor?

  4. As noted by another poster, I hope that you will furnish your prospective mugging victims with verifiable performance records and, failing that, that they at least have the presence of mind to seek such authentication before saying goodbye to their money. I find it fascinating that someone with such an alleged trading record and performance history would want to start a fund of sorts with a $2k pay in. Why do I feel I'm missing something here? No doubt, your verifiable performance records will fill in the blanks.

Since you keep mentioning it time and again, you seem to draw a lot of comfort from your "certainty" that I make no money. Hold on to that blanket.

  5. No, that would be me. However, you were the first contributing poster and you immediately posted the link to your web site. In fact, my thread was not specifically targeting your trading. There was no reference to it. Rather, it was targeting your reprehensible behavior at ET. Your ugly insults are filled with actual hatred, and I just thought it was time to draw some attention to it and call it for what it is.

However, you immediately donned your plaid jacket and went to work. An honest inferential mistake, no doubt. :p

As an aside, I have nothing to say about your trading other than that I have read a few of your "Blue Ribbon Trades" in your thread and decided to seek my entertainment elsewhere.

    OKKK, KKKurt?

  6. What? Grandiosity sprinkled with a bit of self-deprecation? It would appear that you have been vended.

pabst is a pretty smart trader, not so smart in social graces, retarded actually, all that aside,if i had a few million(i dont)and wanted to start a fund, this would be a low risk way to try it and find out its legal and functional ups and downs with minimal cash and small capital headaches. The smartest traders learn early with daily commission charges that other peoples money is the fastest path to amassing capital. Don't know if you ever worked on the floor and were around thousands of traders daily for years, but they are a scummy bunch, there are some true humanitarians down there ,but overall pbr's social behavior as a trader is not to out of the ordinary...on a sidenote ,the bashing he does of racial groups is kept alive by threads such as this, bringing up old threads and reposting them just permeates bigotry, and hating pbr is not much different than hating anyone else, you can hate a persons actions but not the person,it's a little lesson in humanity that all should strive to master

  8. Would it bother you at all if the trader began his business, then was unethical in the manner he tried to raise capital for the business?

opt,i think there are strict legal guidelines that he needs to follow,if those are followed ,i dont see the ethics problem ,this thread is mostly about bashing pabst and hardly a 1st rate advertising campaign to draw business,so i wouldnt call it ethically wrong for him to defend himself on the subject he didnt bring up,i know a lot of blowhard biggots that are just hotair, i also know a lot of blacks, jews, hispanics, indians, polish and irish immigrants that are either ashamed of their predjudice same race counterparts or are predjudice themselves, most are partial to their own race and tolerant of others ,some are open to everyone, not approving of biggotry ,i've chided pabst many times, never met him,but i dont hate him

  10. I don't know if ET's T.O.S. are strict legal guidelines...compared to government and exchange regulations for commodity pools and funds.

It doesn't bother you that a trader would violate ET's T.O.S. to raise capital for their business venture?

You do know what I am talking about, right?
