Yeah, I hear you. ProfLogic is another charlatan (it's amazing how these internet trading forums attract so mch riff-raff, isn't it?).
This whole thread should be deleted. It's not nice to allow this sort of bashing about one man. I think whoever started this thread should delete it. The "whole" thread should be deleted.
Ya gotta wonder why our "most accomplished " one , only shows his 1 LOT (he never showed more than 1 LOT trades) trading record starting 2006 when he has been doing commodity timing for 40 years.... Maybe this is an indication coming from his former commodity timing website ? http://www.wambooi.com/sog/Fraud_Larrys_Timing Newsletter.pdf Notice below it states :"These trades and track records are all the product of Brian Shad not Larry Williams" And then you are surprised that the name of his website is "ireallytrade"...LOL And here you can read about all the million of dollars he lost trading other people's money : http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=174999&perpage=6&pagenumber=12 P.S. Charlatan, scam, fraud ? you decide...
The person that started this thread is a DISGUSTING and repulsive human being. I am requesting the moderator to DELETE this whole thread.
I guess those who are doing well in the markets and are not spending all their time sniping and character assassinating successful people. I really get a laugh out of people who snipe all the time. They are just losers and a joke. Keep the jokes coming losers, but, please wait while I open another bottle.
pure truth/dawg (0ne in the same) just don't get the commodity timing track record; First when Bruce Babcock monitored letters CTiming was most always in the top 5---for years. The letter has always shown a track record on a one lot contract as that is what most subscribers trade. I submitted random sample of trades for last 18 months for this list and the size was found to be there in my own trading. Brian Schad ran the letter for while and his track record in real trading speaks for itself, Ditto Miles Dunbar ran it for awhile...as I shifted more into just trading. Both are excellent men, both, like all of us, have had ups and downs. PT/Tdawg apparently are looking for straight paths to heaven. There are none in this business. The letter showed every trade, good or bad. What other letter does/did that? There is no way to make TDawg get this. I only post here to make certain the truth gets out. The truth is i have written 2 books on markets---seasonals, and COT, that were the first ever in the business based on my original work Now COT is everywhere as are seasonals---those were non existent before my books. Royalties from books go to a scholarship at U of Oregon. Like all traders I've had ups and downs. Look at the market wizzard book guys and you will see the same--even a 76,000,000 fine against Kovners Caxton. Funs..but that does stress TDawg.. No...only Larry Williams does . Talk about blowups look at what happened to those guys after the book...most came back to their credit. I have posted free market commentaries and trading lessons for the last 3 years at ireallytrade.com They are there for all to see and judge my abilities of lack thereof. Go there, watch a few..then you decide. Judge for yourself and ask these critics what have they ever contributed???
I learned about trading under Larry Williams, cannot say enough nice things about him. I purchased a few books, subscribed to the hotlines, attended 3 seminars all of which I felt was well worth it. Larry taught me a love of the markets and a successful way of trading them. I read this entire thread and don't understand why you feel the need to attack Larry in this fashion. Calling Larry Williams a charlatan is very rude in my book, uncalled for and you really should apologize. I joined this forum to share my passion of the markets with like minded folks. Never in my wildest dreams would I ever believe that you would want to bash up one of the worlds foremost traders.
Anyone who wants to comment on this topic should show their trading accounts and tell us who they learnt from. The 2 accounts have over $81,676 open equity. Other snapshot of $134,934 open equity. Here are 2 of my trading accounts as of now and one shot from earlier this year. You can see the see the results from another one of my accounts here - http://www.robbinstrading.com/worldcup/standings.asp Larry Williams has been my mentor since I was 14 years old and I would not have been as successful without him. Thanks to the teachings of Larry I have been able to trade for a living allowing my wife to stay at home to raise our children. This all said, it is sad to see people who instead of learning from him and becoming successful tradeâs they decide to waste their time on ET bad mouthing people that have contributed more in one day then they will ever dream of in their lifetime. For the people that are truly looking for information on how to trade there is no one better than Larry Williams. For the people that say that his ideas donât work, they must also remember that trading is not just about the tools you use, but it is more about you and how you are able to apply these tools. The tools of a surgeon do not save lives, nor does the formula 1 car win the race. I have known Larry for quite some time now and have met a few people that have grown up with him. From what they say and from what I can tell he is sincere, caring and genuine person. From time to time I hear the argument saying âif he is so good then why does he teach?â If you look at this you can probably figure it out. 1.He loves to share what he has learnt 2.Who wouldnât teach for that kind of money? ( eg. Tobey Crabel did, Donald Trump does) 3.As a trader, it is always nice to feel the security of a second source of income. Just like Larry and every experienced trader will have highs and low. Also just like Larry, every trading idea that they have will not always work forever, but just like Larry, every experienced Trader will be the first to tell you when their ideas have failed or when they are wrong. I will close with this; learn what you can from this legend of a trader because he is slowly riding off into the sunset. Do not let there be a day when we look back and regret that we did not grab hold and preserve all the knowledge we could from him. I will ask everyone to stop beating up this great legend, but stand with respect as he fades over the horizon. He has more than earned it.
The above quote could not have been put better. Larry has provided the many thousands of people who have done his courses, followed his trading, the solid foundations to build successful trading careers. Though, given this, I have still made mistakes, but on the whole I have done very well financially from having this oppotunity that Larry has provided. Futhermore, this has given me a standard of living that the snipers at Larry could only and will only ever dream about.
