  1. It had never come up before. The birthers were in hibernation until now. Who could have anticipated that this would be a convenient and ostensible reason for..."like minded" people? Meanwhile, you are not satisfied that the several regulatory and governing bodies in place even before the election, not to mention opposition party officials, have made every effort to arrive at the truth in this matter? Really? That's not enough for you?

Such "investigative" zeal has never before been in evidence among so many "real" Americans. Fascinating, wouldn't you say?

Carol Swain, professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University

"Swain said that what is posted online for the president is a certificate of live birth. “It is the failure to release the long form that keeps suspicion alive,” she said. Swain noted that she strongly disagrees with those who want to criticize Americans, including journalist Lou Dobbs, who continue to raise the issue.

Other sealed records that Swain has called for the president to release include those pertaining to his education, foreign travel and state legislative business."

  5. In the absence of an official governmental function that validates the eligibility of federal office seekers, and grants an official and transparent imprimatur, then all else is akin to the banter on the P&R forum.........engaging but meaningless.

  8. good god.... so your questions is essentially, are all these people racists ...

so, who is doing the labeling of whom? such stupidity....

It's more likely that the "birthers" don't want to accpet OBAMA as president, especially if he hasn't proved native born citizenship.

I've stayed out of this, but it would not surprise me in the least if at some point Obama has lied about his citizenship in the past, whether that be a lie about being or not being a citizen of the US.

Either way, the left disgusts me.

  9. What if Barry did travel the world with a Barry Soetero passport? What if he did take the Muslin prayer as child in Indo? What if he did go to Oxy and Columbia and Harvard as an affirmative action slot?

Do you actually think there will be Nixon type impeachment hearings?

  10. It's also eyebrow-raising -- this entire issue seems kind of foolish at first, as it is something that could be resolved in an instant simply by producing the document. Take a picture of it and post it online, put it on display at the smithsonian and charge conservatives admission, whatever.

But when the argument is so strenuously diverted, and so much effort is put into calling people "crazy" and playing the race card, instead of just doing the logical and most simple thing to resolve it, it is confusing to say the least.
