I really hope people can answer as honestly as possible.....if you are not consistently profitable, feel no shame. No one will know your vote. Everyone says how good automation is, but for retailers, by far the surest and soonest way seems to be traditional discretionary. Plus, every combination of normal indicators is useless and has already been tried....
I think you should provide guidelines so that most answers interpret "consistently profitable" in a compatible manner. Also, what about traders doing both discretionary & automated trading?
Good point, I would say select automated since discretionary is the default. Consistently profitable.....well, I guess it should be made a net profit greater than $1 period, which means most of the et community (no joke). cheers
