Firstly, a BIG thank you to Brother Aphexcoil for all his advice to date... he is our resident Tech Maestro, of that I am sure! I wish to start a simple website where I can put all my photo albums online (photos from my international travels and my saxophone appearances in different continents)... I also want to put on other stuff, such as my views on various global issues.... additionally, I would like to create a basic section on my trading... I do NOT wish to learn HTML and things like Java... I am looking for a simple drag and drop approach, but something that doesn't look too amateurish... There are many options out there, such as Frontpage2002, Dreamwaver, HotMetal, GoLive, Coffeecup... to name but a few... So what do you guys recommend?

Dreamweaver is about as easy as it gets. I try to stay away from Frontpage unless I need to put a basic form on a webpage. If you're developing in Frontpage, remember also that you'll have to have Frontpage extensions installed on your webserver if you expect all of the functionality to work correctly. Some hosting services won't allow this install on shared servers because they fear that will compromise security for their other shared hosting clients. Also, as you become more accomplished in using Dreamweaver you can add some pretty good plug-ins that are fairly cheap. Just do a little research before purchasing any of these programs and you'll be alright.
