Thanks Scientist Wel Well I guess that Nononsens or wathcmacallit actually got the wrong guy . Ok watchmacallit let me note: a) I read one by one your obnoxiuos posts: they are definitively " bragging" and show an almost total incompetence in what is Trading B) No competence and ignorance both in : AT and MACRO themes. C) You try to teach - with your really, really, really funny and snobbish attitude(but snobbish could not be since you simply cannot be)- to others your 0.0000000002 cent of EURO in many things . But you inevitably fail So since - semel in anno licet insanire- (do not try to understand it , is Latin and I doubt you could even grasp the dictionary) I let you post an answer. Which will be in your style , indeed. But do not think I will answer to that. For just is not worthwhile spend more tha 3 minutes with a nonononononononsense like you . By the way : in omen nomen ( this I transalate it for you: " In the name of each one is written his destiny".; so your name is nononsense? you name it.) Cordially
Hi Scientist, I am glad to hear from you! I followed your thread on the DAX with much interest. Keep on going! I am quite busy myself as you probably deducted from my "posting frequency". Good to you, nononsense
Poor little fuzzy rascal Fabrizio, "QVOD SCRIPSI, SCRIPSI" (If needed, look it up in your little kiddy Latin dictionary). Pompous fool: no need to plaster over your empty-headiness with Latin sentences. You only show you have nothing in common with the greatness of Latin antiquity. Your bastardized Latin name is your only visible link to magnificence. You certainly fit the saying of Leonardo da Vinci: "Most people produce only sh*t during their lives". Respectuously yours, nononsense
You certainly fit the saying of Leonardo da Vinci: "Most people produce only sh*t during their lives". If ever Leonardo said so - if ever- you are the living example of it. As I foreseen you answerd with "your style" which is defenitively volgar. Cordially and over ( your 3 minutes are expired)
You're very welcome fabrizio! "Ex abundancia cordis, os loquitor." Which means: "From the abundandance of your heart, your mouth speaks." Are they obnoxious? Maybe I could say "Damnant quod non intelligunt", (People condemn what they do not understand!). Or, "Scientia non habet inimicum nisp ignorantem." (Science has no enemies but ignorants). Well, argaritas ante porcos. So, could you please point out a post that displays the mentioned "incompetence" - Thank you! Hic Rhodus, hic salta! That will sure help improve myself. Dimitium facti qui coepit habet. Excusez moi? AT = old 80's computer? MACRO? In what context? Please elaborate! Oh yeah? Homines dum docent discunt. (While men teach, they learn). You think I fail? Faber quisque fortunae suae. (Each man is the maker of his own fortune) And just look at your name: Fabrizio! I would make a bet that I'm a many times better "fabrizio" than you are - That's where I came from! Nomen not est omen necessarius. But yeah. Panem et circenses. There's another one, often written on Roman grave stones: Eram quod es, eris quod sum. It translates "I used to be what you are, you will be what I am now." Well, maybe one day. By then we can end this all "Clara pacta, boni amici." Until then, I will forgive you for your naiivete, "Gloriosum est injurias oblivici." (It is a virtue to forget injustice) But I'm sure most of this just written by you was just calami lapsus, anyway. Forsan et haec olim meminisse iuvabit. Stultorum infinitus est numerus. Noli turbare circulos meos! Yours Cordially, Scientist P.S: Excuse my bad Latin grammar, but mind you: I just came home and saw this, had the biggest laugh of my life! Talking about "walking into the alligator's mouth!" LOL! You just set a new benchmark for it! Didn't you say you "read one by one of my posts"? How come you didn't read one that stated that I was schooled in Germany? If you had any worldly knowledge, you'd know that for Germans (at least in the upper-level schools), Latin is compulsory! LOL, Germans do Latin from year 5 to year 13, didn't you know?! I'm amazed I still remember some of the stuff since graduation, but I guess it sticks and lives on in new languages. Thank you for refreshing my Latin competence by making me wade through all my Latin quote collections, books and essays from my exercise books! I just realized I should spend more time exploring this wonderful language again, and make it my 5th "spoken" language. As you probably don't know, I speak fluently English and German, I spreak some French (also compulsory in Germany) and still almost fluently Turkish. Since I assume you're American, you can probably hardly speak English. Atque tu adsumo aeruscator schola! Desipio! This is a funny one to figure out. See if you get it...
Thanks, nononsense! Wasn't fabrizio's little slip just hilarious? How to make a complete fool of oneself LOL! I am suprised you are following the DAX thread - It must indeed be a bit of a mind twist for someone so versed in and focused on programming and implementation of fully-automated systems? By the way, how is your Python interface going? I have had a look at python and read a bit about it, it looks like quite an interesting code, particularly for API programming! It's got everything a good language needs, super object-oriented, with classing, modules, advanced dynamic data/typing etc! It's almost better than Java for the API interfaces for sure, since you can access so many system calls and libraries available without trouble, plus you have ultimate inter-system portability/compatibility, without having to rely on Sun's silly virtual machine! Love it also how you can build in modules written in C++! This way, you can even import code from C++ programs and just run it on Python! How would Python work with the X_Trader interface? I would ultimately want to abandon the IB architecture and look at the X_Trader API, but it can be easily programmed in Basic, C++ etc anyway - right? That's something I'd worry about, because why use Python if X_Trader's API is so versatile in compatibility? Anyway, nice stuff man, I should know more about this. I'm currently very busy with lots of things and I think next priority is a holiday. One day, I will dive back into active programming and really look into this stuff. You should probably start a thread about this - API programming! Clara pacta, boni amici! Scientist
Hi Scientist, I hope the moderator will not chase us away as some of the discussed points maybe off-topic. So I'll quickly answer. You seem to have missed the fact that the DAX is one of my longterm darlings. Very capricious though! I admired Mark's thread very much. He is a real "juggler". As he says himself: 80% discipline - exactly as in juggling. I could not do this myself though! Nevertheless, to me his "art" seems to remain very risky. I see that you have been doing things in python. Amazing, no? I am in a (very lengthy) switchover campaign for all my future work. Interesting that you bring up the X-trader situation. I definitely will do this one day. Right now they only have a Windoz based API and are not planning or at least announcing anything for Unix/Linux. I'm sure they will in the future. So if you are willing to stay with Win, you could use their API. In fact I have been looking into this from a python angle. This should go without too many hurdles. As one of my goals is to do nothing anymore in Windows that I cannot port to Linux, I am a bit slow here. I did the complete TWS interface in Python under Linux though. As your comparison to Java, I would say that everything is better in Python, except that a lot more Java floats around than Python. These fads can change quickly over time though. (Did you also pick up that M$ might switch to Linux with their Longhorn baby? This Longhorn keeps on getting postponed, now till 2006 I believe. So don't be surprised about anything!) To stimulate you with your DAX endeavor and encouraged by that bastard halfwit, let's finish in Latin: QVERENS QVERENDI Good to you Scientist, nononsense
Scientist Very good, very good. I 'm surprised . I did not say I'v read yours posts , but your nononsense buddy. However this show off has been interesting and I appreciated . At least because it gives me the chance to remind you that in Italy we do not only have 5+3 years of Latin but -if you choose a Liceo Classico even 5 years of Greek ( antico naturalmente). So....... I'm here whenever you like to open the Certamen , I'm here ready. At least your nononsense buddy will see some sprinkle of culture. for what concern AT , I 'm sorry........was a typo. At stay for Analisi Tecnica: but you are wright: TA. One question Dies your buddy pays you for this or is just a nononsense unable to actually react in a educated manner as actually you did. And I must sincerely admit I appreciate it. Now I leave you with the believe that you are a better Fabricious than me. Actually in life what counts is the reality : you sound little too much autoreferential .....( know that I know you are German I know that you are surely acquainted with Kurt Godel) Ready for the certamen. Bye
Who, incidentally, was Austrian and not German, but spoke German too if only because Austrians are not very inventive, I guess...
Ah btw nonononsense , I think that you, your sister, your brother are old enough to know who your mother is. For what concerning your father that is impossible.
