  1. The spectrum of traders may not be as flambouyant as you depict.

The two problems are those that indicate major considerations for both aspects of the trader-market partnership. On one side the trader's plan generates insufficient signals to follow the market. On the other hand, the trader's role is to a great degree an unconscious one. He cannot summon personal resources to have perception. His inference is not available and therefore, he has no perception. A mind that is not differentiated does not automatically summon the inference in support of the incoming market signals.

How can a trader get his computer to begin to function to be informative?

How can a trader work to get his mind equipped to have a continuing supply of inference to match his sensory input to his mind?

To you its magical and a possible worlds context. You play the role of observer of traders and markets.

  2. Yes.

I trade observable moves so offsetting from the exisitng boundary would work for anyone. That makes the stops fractal sensitive. By trading FFT to FTT with respect to those boundaries, you reverse well before the boundary and even more before the offest stop.

Since that is my routine and modus what is happening mostly is I am moveing away from the boundary and when price stops moving awaym then I am reversing and a point on that bar becomes where the new boundary begins that I move away from.

I think of boundaries and being on the correct side of the market means the boundary is always to the right of my hold position. It is difficult to switch from entry/exit orienation and the up/down that usually goes with that. I orient to hold reverse and right/left orientation. I trade the long diagonal of parallelograms. Entry Exit often trades the short diagonal giving up bar volatility.

The attached shows four trades including the reversal out of that smart money short. you will notice the first derviavtive of the boundary is where the signal originates. after the signal you see acceleration wax and wane in the diraction of the move smart money move. Inside the green lines is statisitcally insignificant.

Later (not on this attachment), you can see the end of day effect with the hershey hinge on bar 76 to 77. Using smart money lets you front run the move.

For me, keeping stops in place takes time away from the routine I do. Since I watch and take first and second derivatives of smart money, I feel their input to me is as good as stopping would be.

None of this is magic and on the other hand it is very science oriented. My effort is to keep the conversation substantive and mildly deflect the stuff that is out of line and personally derogatory.

  7. So Jack why do you still live off your partner? Why do you need to live out of her house if you are successful?

How does she feel about subsidizing your career? Do you get an allowance?

Why do you have none of the trappings of success?

After 50 years why can't you show a track record, or even a single trade?

In short why do you waste your declining years trying to be someone and something you clearly are not?

Based on the hierarchy of nested fractals, are we currently (11FEB2010, EOD) in "Short Tape 1" or "Short Tape 3" ? TIA

  9. This is best seen on a gapped monthly or weekly. That way you can see the whole market context. Someone will put up a clean or annotated chart for this.

Right now the 10,000 level is at play going into the holiday.
