  1. the tea party imbeciles are having buyers remorse about electing republicans to congress.

Tea Partiers may say the government is too damn big, but when it comes to at least two federal entitlement programs, they sing a wholly different tune.

In a McClatchy-Marist poll released this week, 70% of registered voters who identify with the Tea Party opposed making cuts to either Medicare or Medicaid -- the government-run health programs for the elderly and the poor -- to help reduce the nation's deficit. Meanwhile, only 28% of tea partiers said they'd be willing to cut spending on those two programs.

Well, there's goes the oft repeated notion that the Tea Party is made up of "right wing extremists". LOL!

  3. How would you feel if you paid insurance premiums for 40 years, then when you had a claim the insurance company said they couldn't really afford to pay you. Then you found out the execs of the company got gold-plated coverage.

Medicare is an insurance program. People paid into it their whole working lives. Of course they are opposed to it being cut. That's why the Ryan plan doesn't affect anyone currently on Medicare or within ten years of being on it. Obama called that wanting to kill old people, but his obamacare plan is the one with death panels for rationing care. You know damn well whose care will be rationed. Old people. The death panels will justify cutting old people so they can spend money on welfare mothers and illegal immigrants, two important obama constituencies.

  4. Speaking of the Obama's death panels, do a google search on IPAB.

  5. I saw this documentary where these senior citizens were having a RE-union of some sorts. It so happened that 70% of the folks there were on these motorized wheelchairs. When asked why did so many of them get off their wheelchairs to go dancing ..... the reply was ,

'' We don't really need them , but they come by way of Medicaid.'' . :D
