When I select "New Posts," it appears posts from the Politics and Chit Chat forums are excluded. For example here are new posts and posts from refreshing Politics within a few seconds of each other: It seems the posts in Politics from 2 and 7 minutes ago should appear in the list from "New Posts" before the post from 10 minutes ago. Would it be possible to have "New Posts" show new posts from all the forums? Or if this was done on purpose, would it be possible to add another button to do this?
Please no! Many of us are here primarily for trading discussions, funny that, and it would make the New Posts feature unusable if it included the cesspool that is the Politics section.
This is a trading forum and those sections (politics, religion, chat chat) were created to give an island for someone to speak about those topics instead of allowing them to pollute the threads about trading. You can subscribe to individual threads in those sections. Maybe Baron can create a way to subscribe to the entire section so that members will be alerted to each / every new posts. That way those that do not want to see that stuff will not feel invaded. I saw a forum (not a trader forum)...users of the forum can create personal heatmaps of words they're interested. Then when they clicked on a particular word / phrase in the heatmap...you were taken to all the associated words. Also, you could subscribe to areas in the heatmap to get alerts when someone at the forum used those words in the same message post (e.g. Tariffs China Trump) Yet, it was not a trader forum. wrbtrader
It was done on purpose to keep the New Posts feed from getting polluted by off-topic discussions. You should go the Politics forum and click on the "Follow this forum" button at the bottom right of that page to be notified of new threads in that forum.
