People are way too sensitive these days.

YouTube Asian ranter Alexandra Wallace leaving UCLA after receiving death threats

Alexandra Wallace, the southern California undergraduate who apologized for her recent YouTube rant about the “hordes of Asian people that UCLA accepts into our school every single year,” said Friday that she will no longer be attending classes at UCLA.

In a statement to the college newspaper, The Daily Bruin, Wallace said, “the harassment of my family, the publishing of my personal information, death threats and being ostracized from an entire community” has caused her to leave the university.

“In an attempt to produce a humorous YouTube video, I have offended the UCLA community and the entire Asian culture,” Wallace said in the statement. “Especially in the wake of the ongoing disaster in Japan, I would do anything to take back my insensitive words. I could write apology letters all day and night, but I know they wouldn’t erase the video from your memory, nor would they act to reverse my inappropriate action.”

On the Sunday after Japan’s 8.9 magnitude earthquake, Wallace went on YouTube to complain about UCLA’s Asian population. Wallace berated Asians for being loud in the library, inviting their families over to do their laundry and for not using “American manners.” Wallace quickly removed her posting from the Internet, but it had already gone viral by that point.

“Hi. In America, we do not talk on our cell phones in the library,” Wallace said in her YouTube video, claiming that Asians often scream into their phones while she is trying to focus on schoolwork in the library. Wallace went on to say, “ohhhhhh ching chong,” mocking a generic Asian language.

Though Wallace expressed racist sentiment in her YouTube video, many critics have responded to her tirade by posting equally disturbing YouTube videos.

One YouTube user, Jason, said he believes Wallace needs to be beaten.

“Alexandra, you are a deeply troubled, mischievous little fuckface who deserves to be slapped in the fucking face, and I mean hard. Okay, why would I say that?…Now I honestly, women shouldn’t be hit, others fucking feminism bullshit, well fuck that. Some bitches need to be fuckin’ slapped in the face, and she’s definitely one of them.”

But it shouldn't dopey, which is the whole point of the thread.
  5. Hello

Maverick, I got to say that aside from the part where this asian guy says that the girl deserved to be slapped in the face, this asian guy seemed like a pretty solid guy, he called out his own people and immigrants starting at 1:40. He may be an overzealous young kid, but i agree with most of what he is saying from 1:00 onward. (Aside from calling for a slap in the face)

In terms of the girl, she is getting her first dose of reality in life. She seemed like one of those stupid ditzy wannabe "Paris Hilton" spoiled brat type bimbos who thought she could go around doing whatever she wanted on the internet, and in life in general up until that point. Does she deserve for this to be a national scene? Probably not, but She just got a hard dose of reality, and i can promise you that this girl will end up being wiser after this incident, instead of trying to be a blonde oblivious cunt, which is all too common among young american women these days.

Yeah, I'm not taking sides here. I think both sides are examples of people being way too sensitive. The Asian response was funny as the guy demonstrated he has basically lost his ethnic culture and became a 100% American douche bag who can't complete a sentence without saying f*ck 10 times. The guy is a tool. I'm not saying he or the girl are right or wrong in their opinions, just that neither of them have any ability to express themselves and I assume they are both attending UCLA, one of our more prestigious schools in this country. Sure, I give the Asian guy credit for calling foul on his own team, but seriously, UCLA, is this the best thing they can do? After watching that brawl at Alabama State last week and now this at UCLA, is this what our universities are producing these days?
  7. Hello

Yeah i agree with you, all that "Yo, Yo, Yo" bullshit has to go, the kid seems somewhat intelligent, for a kid his age, dont get why he would try to downplay it by trying to sound like a gangster.

One can only imagine the level of douchebaggery we are about to witness if for whatever reason acting like "snooki" or "the situation" becomes the new trend.

Plus, do you have any idea how hard it is to get into UCLA? And how expensive it is? Seriously, if I was turned down for admission I would take all these youtube videos into the admissions office and have a little talk with them.
  9. Hello

Yeah, i understand 100% where you are coming from.... I dont understand how it somehow became popular to act like a total piece of shit in the united states, one can only imagine the god forsaken bottomless pit we are about to fall into, if acting like "snooki" or "the situation" from jersey shore becomes popular amongst the youth.

Id be willing to go out on a limb and say that this Asian dude probably gets unreal grades, but for some reason he feels the need to act like a dumb ass in order to try to "fit in" with kids his age. Does anyone doubt that the chinese are laughing at us right now as they witness the degradation of american society first hand?
