    What were they carrying, bazookas?

  2. I'm not sure about any bazookas, but it looked like the two cops he was taunting were carrying assault rifles.

How often do you see cops carrying rifles on the sidewalk, as opposed to the handguns they normally keep holstered?

Point being it was clearly a hostile situation in which this dumbass dog owner took his dog into.

But hey, it's a free country right mo fo's?

If a brother wants to walk up on a scene where police are clearly trying to handle a potentially lethal situation, and he wants to strut around the police cars with his rottweiler, or puma or whatever, and film to make sure the culprits aren't violated, a brother should be able to I guess, huh??

If he wants to blast his speakers all the way up to eleven, while the police are trying to speak to him, or other citizens, or each other, then Who the hell are we to judge his actions, right?

You may not realize it, Lurc, because you may not have any respect for those type of situations either, but that's a really dangerous and stressful job these guys are doing. You may be able to sit back, drink a few spritzers, and grab at the stewardesses' asses while flight control basically flies your plane for you, and that's fine. But these guys need to be able to fully concentrate and not worry about some jackass and his saber tooth retarded dog biting their asses while they do their work.

Excuse my language, ladies, but the only pussies I'm seeing around here are the ones who let the cops take all the risk, and sit back in their cozy little cabins and bitch about how these cops are out of control and violating all of our rights.

Leapup, you have no problems bragging about your heroic service in the armed forces- have you never seen others rights being violated by our own military personnel? Do you want people stereo typing our boys as a bunch of assholes who use their stripes to make them selves feel important and violate others rights? I can assure you that there are dipshits out their in droves, packing machine guns and being called soldiers right now?

Why not take a little time to fully assess the situation before you open your loud mouths and share your opinions. You may not realize it, but that fucked up attitude will actually spread like a bad disease, and more cops will be killed as a result. In turn more civil rights will likely be violated because these guys are put more and more on edge every day, especially when no one in the neighborhood seems to have any respect for the situation they are in.

    Fuckin pussies indeed.

Go ahead and continue to pat the OP on the back for digging up videos like this, and instructing people to just skip the boring parts and get right to the action.

I have a suspicion that some of you may be sociopaths to begin with and probably don't care that lives are affected by your ignorant rants, so I guess I'm only talking to those of you who actually harbor some sort of common sense of morality.

    Here’s what I observed

A shit load, and I mean a LOAD – of stupidity
    =================

The guy injects himself in a situation where he has no business

The guy goading the police – who are already engaged in a tense situation

The guy not having his windows rolled up enough to constrain his dog

The guy not controlling his dog

    The cop killing the dog

The bystanders shouting over to the cops – as the dog was headed their way (further exacerbating a tense situation)

All parties – simply fuckin stupid

No one in that entire situation was in control of their emotions – hence in control of the situation

And because of the stupidity from all parties – a dog gets killed
    =========================================

I wish there was a law against stupidity

I hope the officer is fired

I hope the rest of the officers get trained – not only in how to properly control themselves / a situation – but also in animal control

And imo – no amount of money can replaced one’s dog

    ========================

And yes I know, hoping and wishing are useless

  4. After the OP gives false info as to the reasons for the arrest, then instructs us to skip the boring parts, (i.e. the dumbass dog owner strutting around with his rot, talking shit to the cops with his radio turned all the way up) he then later shows us a video of how Ceasar Milan would have handled the situation.

I've already pointed out that Ceasar Milan would have never taken a dog anywhere near this kind of stressful situation in which police have heavy gauge firearms armed and are ready for combat.

Now I will also point out the type of leash and collar that this retard is using, which wouldn't properly control a puppy if it got rambunctious.

If you've ever listened to anything Ceasar has taught his clients, then you will know that he highly disagrees with the use of these types of toy leashes that simply attach to the dogs collar.

He instead walks the dog with a very simple slip knot type of rope or chain that allows for relaxation when the dog is behaving properly but also gives the owner the ability to clinch up and around the dog's throat if they feel the need for a quick lesson in discipline.

I sincerely doubt whether the OP has any more sense of respect or proper knowledge of dog ownership than Rosby did.

Remember folks- when the blind follow the blind, they both fall into a hole.

  5. Where do civilians get 'trained" or "training" on how to interact or respond to law enforcement?

    AFAIK, nowhere and never.

Seems everyone is a self appointed deputy in civil rights and has a camera and ready to post some crap on the net.

  6. RN,

I agree that there was a WHOLE lot of stupidity going on, starting with the OP's initial rant, and yes, also by the cop who fired his weapon at the dog.

And it may be true that a guy like yourself or me, may have and probably would've handled the dog very differently than this officer did.

I know nothing of your experience with large and potentially dangerous animals, but I can tell you that I have had a WHOLE lot of experience in training large dogs and animals.

As a golden rule I have learned by experience that the larger and stronger the creature, the more crucial it is to fully discipline the animal so that others will never be hurt by them.

I do not train large dogs to be attack dogs.

I teach them exactly the opposite. I teach them with calm assertiveness who is in full control of their actions at any given point in time.

Just as a General expects full compliance from his soldiers, I too have such control over the animals in my care. I say sit, and that dog will sit until I tell it to move.

I respect the animal while doing so and it knows that the reason I am the boss is for it's own good so that it won't get run over by a car, maul a little kid, or shot by a cop.

I do everything within my power to make sure the animal lives a happy life to the fullest, and it not be cut short because I (the owner) was too ignorant to realize that others may one day see my dog as a threat.

I can also tell you that I know how to handle a large dog that gets out of line much better than the everyday average joe. Reason is because It's a job I take seriously, and I have been blessed with a passion and real talent for it.

This guy who shot the dog, he was ignorant for certain, and probably very scared. Chances are he may have never had any type of encounter with a dog that size and breed without being scared.

These are potential very dangerous and lethal animals, that most owners simply don't realize the magnitude of their potential until its too late.

I wanted to puke after I saw the video, just like many others I'm sure, and my first response was the desire to pistol whip the cop who shot the dog.

But the dog should never have been at the scene. It should never have been on this guys toy leash, or in this Rosby's possession at all.

Just as I feel a few simple tests should be passed in order to own firearms, I feel the same about owners having to pass a few tests before they are allowed to own dogs that can kill.

Some of you may see it as unalienable right to own these things no matter how retarded you are, but don't come crying to me when you or your animal gets shot.

    Eight

The video was taken in Wilmington California. The three officers are in hiding due to death threats.

  8. It's painfully obvious Rosby had no intentions of protecting or properly caring for his dog.

At about the 2:18 mark, he puts his dog in an unsecured vehicle. By the way he walks straight to the police and immediately turns around to put his hands behind his back, he shows he is clearly focused on the act of getting arrested. He has clearly not considered what will become of the dog, as the windows are obviously down, and now the dog is free to go about or be stolen after his arrest.

I think Rosby's focus was purely on the sole act of trying to make everyone on the scene look like an ass, in which he succeeded to the fullest.

It should begin at home, with children

But responsible parenting has gone out the window – by in large part

I agree social media isn't all its cracked up to be

Some want their 15 minutes of fame

otoh; it has brought the reality of things to light (a good thing imo) ...

unfortunately most are no where near emotionally mature enough to deal with that reality in a responsible way
