Why would somebody play 3 or more online poker games at one time? Other than to win more money? Somebody said they like to play 3 poker games online at once.
You sort of answered your own question there. Those who play lower stakes games are easier to beat than those playing higher stakes games. It's probably just best to go where the crowd is to fleece them and the crowd seems to be with PartyPoker.
daytrademargin, they have poker rooms on indian reservations AND in the city and county as well. they just illegalized ONLINE gambling. only ONLINE why? well, they claimed it was to "protect the player" which is patently absurd. you can go to a casino and lose all your money (and pay an exorbitant rake), but you can't play a $1 tournament online? what a complete crock. the REAL reason they banned it is because they are leftwing nannystate ninnies, and because they don't get any tax money from online gambling, like they do from casinos
partypoker does not take United states citizens. They won't let you join if you you live in the U.S.A. new legislation.
The only online poker rooms still accepting US players AND US deposits are Bodog, Full Tilt and PokerStars. There may be a couple more, but none as reputable as these.
People playing at multiple tables usually play very tightly. A tight player with three games going simultaneously will still spend the majority of his/her time on the sidelines waiting for good cards. Once they're dealt a great hand, they'll play very aggressively in an attempt to maximize profits. If you spend enough time playing online poker, these players become very easy to spot. When you spot a player as I just described, you'll notice a pattern to their playing. Once they have a great hand, they'll raise big pre-flop (5+ times the BB). The reasoning is simple: pocket Jacks or AK are great hands heads-up or against two opponents, but against a larger field they'll most likely get cracked. But here's the good part. Such players develop an entitlement attitude and will almost always bet big on the flop, whether they made a hand or not. More often than not, they're going to miss, and a simple check raise can be quite profitable. A lot of great players avoid going up against tight opponents, which, IMO, is a big mistake. After all, tight players are the easiest to read.
People cheat at online poker. They tell their partner what each others cards are so they can beat you. Collusion. What is Collusion? This is the most common form of cheating at online poker, in which several players at the same table (or one player using multiple computers) share information. Collusion is the co-operation of two or more players at the same table to better their odds at winning. They could collude through telephones, instant messaging, etc. There are virtually an unlimited amount of colluding methods.
Hardly worth it for them IMHO, the most you would lose is your entry fee, which in most cases is pretty insignificant
