Thanks for your good wishes Osorico. Maybe I'm an "old dog" trader. I trade for my own account since 1986. I considered myself a rather aggressive trader as well. With little money you have to be. The first 14 years of my trading history I had some huge run-ups but lost it all several times. The past nine years I am more stable in my trading with an average return of 67% per year. Still rather aggressive from most people's point of view I guess. I agree with you that even with this return compounding forever is not possible. But when you are succesful you will become more conservative and must be also.
67% year in year out is nothing to sneeze at. Very nice!! And I know what you are saying regarding becoming less aggressive... All the benefits of trading for yourself aside... there is still a difference between having or needing to versus just wanting to... right now Im in the middle... I'm thinking bonds may look good in the foreseeable future. Unsure of which country however. Nice meeting you Osorico
No, actually I just needed to humble a little jealous sim trader who watches his platform just dreaming... Done.
Here's your ride, bumpkin. If you two wish to continue the game of who's-got-the-larger-cock, shut your boyish traps and post your August broker P&Ls... otherwise, you are only amusement to me and a waste of bandwidth to this thread.
