Point & Figure Charting

  1. As far as I know, it's strictly website-based. Wasn't sure if it would be helpful, but since they do chart the commodities and currencies, I figured I'd toss it out there.

  3. Looks good. Do PnF calculate on a close to close basis?...or can they be run and display using exact hi/low's?

    Linnsoft Investor RT version 8.8 has point and figure added to this latest release. Although I have not tried out the new point and figure function I have found this software to be very flexible and reliable so I would suppose pnf would be similar in quality.

  5. Yes, the I/RT P&F charts process every tick, so it captures every price traded.

    I worked with their developer quite a bit on the P&F charts and I would say they are probably the best you are going to get here in the states now.

    There are a few missing features (such as targets) but supposedly they will be putting those in as well.

    Ensign has these. You can run Ensign off the IB data feed, so the cost would only be about $40/mo.
