Hello guys, Great thread, I am really fascinated by Point & Figure and Gann swing charts. I have a reasonable understanding of P&F but not Gann swing charts, are those points on the swing charts projected by square of 9. I have some Gann books but none really have a simple easy way to understand how to construct or interpret these charts, can you great guys please give some suggestions. Cheers, email
A new book, "The Definitive Guide to Point and Figure" by Jeremy du Plessis is a great read. Very well done, good text, and contents with glossy paper and color charts. (I like good books.) It is expensive but worth it (IMHO). http://www.amazon.com/Definitive-Gu...0143308?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1176780877&sr=8-1
Hi email, I totally agree with Slackerâs and the other readersâ comments on Amazon about Jeremy du Plessisâ book: itâs THE seminal work on the subject of P&F charting and a must read for anyone with an interest in trading in my opinion. I think you should also take a look at Marc Rivalland on Swing Trading which you can find here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/pr.../103-7446348-7856607?ie=UTF8&n=283155&s=books - youâll find an outline of the contents of the book and a wider range of reader reviews and opinions here: http://books.global-investor.com/books/14705.htm - you find that thereâs plenty of stuff on P&F and Gann Swing charts. HTH Cheers CD
Hi guys, Thanks very much, I have actually purchased both Rivalland`s book and de plesiss, they seem top notch. Many regards, email
you will probably findthat duplessis should be used as the text book.rivalland is just his method of combining p/f and swing. the principles in duplessis are the basic building blocks of any method/system
I've been using Bull's-Eye Broker 5 with eSignal for a while now. ( http://www.pointandfigure.com ) I dropped updata due to the high price price and it was constantly crashing.
