Point and Click Vs. Hot Keys

    RN you could get the Nostromo speedpad as someone mentioned.


    or for a numeric keypad what I use in conjunction is Hotkeymaster

    it is for windows XP but a super and reliable little program. So you can map your F keys the way you like

  4. Some platforms allow you to set a key (such as tab) to cycle between level II/market maker/order entry boxes. In Laser I use 4 boxes and pressing tab always selects the box to the left, so no stock is more than 3 key clicks away.

    Scalper, thank you for the hint. Problem is in NinjaTrader every single window (order entry, charts, quotes, etc.) counts when you click through, so you could easily have to click through 20 windows. Thanks anyway.

    If anyone uses hotkeys with IB or with NinjaTrader 7 Beta, I would love to hear from them.

  6. i try to use all hotkeys. it makes it much quicker and easier to put in orders and draw tools on charts.
