Tony Podesta stepping down from lobbying giant amid Mueller probe
Podesta announced his decision during a firm-wide meeting Monday morning and is alerting clients of his impending departure.
    ...
The investigation into Podesta and his firm grew out of investigators’ examination of Manafort’s finances. Manafort organized a PR campaign on behalf of a nonprofit called the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine. Podesta Group was one of several firms that were paid to do work on the PR campaign to promote Ukraine in the U.S.

Podesta Group filed paperwork with the Justice Department in April stating that it had done work for the European Centre for a Modern Ukraine that also benefited the same Ukrainian political party that Manafort once advised. Podesta Group said at the time it believed its client was a European think tank untethered to a political party.

Podesta has long been a larger than life figure on K Street, growing his business from a boutique firm into a massive lobbying and public relations operation. He is well known for his flashy dressing, vast art collection, generous campaign donations across all levels of Democratic politics and, of course, for his brother John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman.

Podesta Group has struggled in the wake of the Mueller investigation. More than a dozen of its lobbying clients have cut ties with the firm this year, according to lobbying filings. Revenues have also declined: The firm brought in an estimated $4.8 million in the third quarter of 2017, down from $5.2 million in the second quarter of 2017 and from $6.1 million in the third quarter of 2016.

Nice try Breitbart troll, just mention Podesta to imply it's related to Hillary's campaign manager John Podesta

Even if Tony Podesta who was lied to by Manafort about lobbying work gets indicted on all this, who the fuck cares? That doesn't change anything from the fact that people in the Trump's campaign have already plead guilty to collusion.

Just how much of your own dog food can you actually eat?

But, I thought Mueller was a Clinton loving liberal bent takingnonly Trump down. Why would he be investigating Podesta?

This only adds credibility to Mueller’s investigation.

I am stunned to see the dominoes falling so quickly...
if you were not on full denial duty you would understand this is really problematic for hillary. Tony Podesta is very tied to Hillary

Manafort is tied to Tony who is tied to Hillary. Tony was always talking to Hillary.
John may be less guilty than hillary on the surface.

tucker says the Podesta employee just told him this information.
Tuckers source says Mueller is more concerned about Russian influence peddling via the groups like the Podesta group than Trump collusion.

this is interesting don't you think.

Manafort hired Podesta Group for lobbying in 2015 that they declared publicly

    OMG DOMINOES FALLING

Manafort worked for Trump's presidential campaign and the transition team. Gates worked for the WH as late as June 2017

That means Podesta group is in trouble

You cons are so most self delusional, it's pathetic

Tony Podesta may be in trouble. To the extent these guys think, probably not but you never know.

At the end of the day I doubt Hillary Clinton conspired with Russia to release Jon Podesta’s emails or to help Trump win the election. She seems pretty salty over the election to me.

It’s important to separate the two, though. It’s also important to know he may be stepping away for business reasons as well. Since his connection to Manafort was revealed his firm has lost numerous clients and big sums of money.

Buddy, you seem willing suspend disbelief over any issue related to Clinton. Maybe you should rethink what you believe about Trump and his associates.

So what? Who cares? Even if Tony Podesta is implicated why the heck would anyone care other than RWNJ desperate to deflect. Manafort hired Podesta group to do PR work for them which they reported as such, Manafort didn't disclose that he was representing a foreign government so Podesta Group didn't mention in their FARA forms and now they did after it was reported as such. So these minor FARA charges even if they happen implicates Democrats how??? For all the talk of Manafort being charged for crimes that were pre Trump campaign, did you guys forget that you are talking about Podesta's lobbying in 2015. What has that got to do with Democrats and the election?
