Kiddies- I just wanted to share my experience with some PNY cd-r's that I got really cheap at best buy (something like $5 post-rebate for 110 discs). They fall apart!!! The label flakes and peels away, along with your data! No matter how cheap they are, avoid them at all costs!!! They truly suck. Think of how much more $$$ and time you will waste having to REBURN everything when the labels start to flake off. I replaced them with some I/O magic brand discs, (aka digital research) which have a lacquered label side that seems pretty stable so far. I looked around after PNY incident, and the I/O magic discs seem to be the only ones I can find that have this coating on the label side.
