The right wing morons are spending their time attacking Obama, rather than focusing on the cause of the problem. It is one thing to have a hurricane, it is another to have a man made disaster...in what appears to be negligence on behalf of BP and TransOcean. Hell, even that cow Sarah Palin understands the problem, as she had to deal with the aftermath of the Valdez oil spill...although she is afraid to alienate her base by dealing the the real problem of oil addiction. What would Ron and Rand Paul say? Capitalism trumps all, and you have to spill a little oil to make a big profit...
The only possible upside to the magnitude of this disaster is possibility that the root causes will be examined. I was just out at the gym. I saw that usa today wondering about the response of the administration -- There really is not much to wonder. There has been no credible response. they are either 1. incompetent 2. scared or 3. so concerned about the threat to the economy they are working behind the scenes for national security reasons. 3. is going to be very hard to prove... and proof will be in the results.
