Budget is $850 Billions per year, what PLTR get from it is by far not much from this. And they are cost and time saver. It does not make sense to cut spendings on PLTR software. They will cut elsewhere. Also this could be interpreted as the opposite that more Palantir software is needed to save more on spendings than now. So PLTR should go up on this news in my eyes.

Like all these high flyers the day traders are weak hands.

I remember when growth got whacked back in December & APP collapsed. I think is APP is up another 50%. I remember CVNA was history because of some shady short seller (now retired). It was up 60% from the bottom before today's ER.

SMCI went down like 15% in 30 minutes because people were selling PLTR? What kind of nonsense is that. Algos gone wild.

    https://www.tipranks.com/news/the-f...s-game-changing-software-play-palantir-at-buy

Loop Capital analyst Mark Schappel initiated coverage of Palantir (PLTR) with a Buy rating and $141 price target The company is leveraged to the AI and GenAI themes sweeping through the tech sector, which represent “enormous market opportunities” that are likely to create several multi-billion dollar revenue companies, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Loop further notes that Palantir provides a modern AI data platform that helps government agencies and enterprises make data-driven decisions by detecting unusual or previously undetectable patterns in large complex datasets, and its Ontology, which presents data to users in their own everyday terms and represents decisions in an enterprise, is becoming a powerful tool for AI-driven decision-making. The firm adds that while it does not usually recommend paying 44-times sales for software companies, it believes that Palantir has all the hallmarks – massive market, category leader, strong execution – of becoming a game-changing software stock.

    -------------------------------------------

One of the very few analysts with a buy rating now on PLTR, with target of $141 here. So you Palantir is undervalued just right now.

And it is everywhere reported on Commercials that when PLTR software is implemented that a lot of process are more efficient and lots of cost can be cut because of PLTR software, like 98% budget cuts on personal because of the efficiency, because instead of 200 persons only 3 persons needed to use Palantir with the same or even better results than before. So the last what Pentagon will do cut on that kind of software which brings the most cost and time saver at all. It is rather the opposite that you need much more Palantir software to reduce more costs, like DOGE would need it to cut spendings bureaucrazy.

Didn't it correct because of the sec filing that insider including CEO are authorised to sell millions of shares until September '25 more than the budget cut?

Thinking long term, I welcome a little correction considering the way it shoot up.

No staff is selling it through planned programs in advance and it was reduced or cut from the original plan to sell some shares. And Karp already sold at $40 and $55 and more at that level and it is not that much that it could have any impact, it is more psychological. It is also not good use as indicator too, you have seen.

You do not cut where you get the most benefit from efficiency as this is the most spendings saver. So more Palantir software is needed to be able to cut more. So it is just the opposite and budget cuts on Pentagon is bullish for this stock and not bearish.
