I've been viewing my bid / ask spread as I write this post and I have to say I totally agree with you. I'm just soooooooooo glad I was just sim trading to test it.
it's way too simple approach and won't work in today's market. simply because of their current microstructure. today,we(the retailers) have no tools to fight with pro's on such short term. have any of you noticed, that every possible tool that can be used to gain any advantage was gradually closed for general public? every single piece of valuable info that could be analyzed i believe purposely been either closed,limited to useless,priced to the sky or FBAR-ed.
