Didn't the Vikings make the playoffs last year? Yeah I thought so. Its not like they came from out of nowhere. Not to mention two of the Vikes wins have been pretty lucky. Don't worry Brett will fall apart in the November and December as usual. He had the Jets at 8-3 and Brett couldn't even get them into the playoffs. Thats pretty weak. Brett will walk off the field as a loser again this year. Brett's final throw will be an interception in a tight game that kills the Vikings season. We all remember his last play with GB and that was that boneheaded interception he threw against NY. It will be something like that. Lets be honest, Brett Favre can't hold Tom Brady's jock strap.
He played a team that had one QB with a net -7 yards and the other with net 0 yards. In the NFL running up the score for the sake of stats and stats alone takes are real special breed of competitor. When games are out of reach, ever notice how most teams all of a sudden have consecutive 3 and outs and run the ball more to burn the clock, or at the very worst start kicking a lot of FGs? The losing team might even put a few points on the board, even though they could barely manage a first down for most of the game. There's a reason it happens that way.
59-0 makes HEADLINES. Headlines makes fans and sponsers. Fans make $. geesus some you guys are naive beyond redemption.
You have got to be kidding me. You don't think Tom Brady is a special breed of competitor? Tom Brady has quarter-backed three Super Bowl wins, he quarter-backed the offense with the most points scored in a single season and is the only QB to go 16-0 in the regular season. The guy is by far the best QB of the decade and some would argue of all-time.
