Mav I've been really clear on that. RCG is calling people racists when they aren't and it is extremely inappropriate.

I read your posts carefully. How about affording me the same courtesy?

I've been very courteous and polite. I simply am asking what your definition is so I have some metric to go by here. Can you give me an example of something he would have to say that would make you change your opinion. As God as my witness, I have no idea what metric you are using. I maybe wrong or simply have a different definition then you do, which is why I am "politely" asking for your help. That is all.

I'm just saying he never called Lucrum or another white guy a "cracker" or a clear racist epithet. He stops right at the line and only says "toothless Appalachian" or "redneck" etc.

I'm not attacking you, not even by proxy.

My post was just an observation. I went through this with him when I was going after AK a week or two ago over the Rep. Allen West thread. RCG challenged anyone to cite an overtly racist post he made and I simply couldn't find one.

But on the subject of him calling others racist I've been clear that he is way way out of line. I personally had him on Ignore for awhile because I was tired of it. I recently took him off Ignore because people were quoting him to the extent that I could see he had relented somewhat from that practice.

Its a subtle point and I'm not very good at expressing subtleties.

Absolutely no offense intended towards you. As I said, I carefully read and consider your posts.

OK, fair enough. I don't believe calling someone a "cracker"' is a very offensive term in part because one, no one uses the word. And two, it's a humorous play on words. I would much rather be called a cracker then a racist. I do have a reputation outside this message board 377. Many people on here know me personally and do business with me. Labeling me a racist is the absolute worst thing one can say to me as it can literally destroy my professional life. If someone called me a cracker I would laugh at them and buy them a beer. Calling someone a racist is actually grounds for a libel lawsuit.

Anyway, I'll let it go and carry on the conversation with others. I'm not trying to attack you. I just wanted further clarification.

    He needs to stop that.

It isn't consistent with the rest of his character and he might not realize the carnage that it can cause.

  10. Thank you John, you may do business with other folks, but English teacher is not you thing.....

So let's parse this sentence shall we?

to everyone but the GOP he is what is called a porch monkey.

This is a comment on perception, and yes, he is, considered that, up to and including chasing after white women because they are white.

If you had not began posting incidents of crime that seemed to focus exclusively on poor blacks, when Chicago is widely consider the home of "The Chicago Way" then I would not have questioned your motives. Those indicated you are trying to focus on a subset and then subtly project that. I will call that out every time I see it.

You claimed to be just a concerned citizens and yet you posted these videos, ala Peil.

    You dug that hole John.

Now back the statement I went further to say that Colin Powell went on not only to refuse GOP overtures, but to go on to endorse Obama, did this not put Cain on an Island. I said that BEFORE he was bounced out of the race.

    Try again.
