I don't recommend new traders to trade stocks. Especially such stocks as Biocept.
If you want to trade stocks, you need to choose the ones with high liquidity and volatility like Apple, Tesla and so on. Surely, you can trade Biocept but along with technical analysis, you've got to use fundamental analysis in order to understand the reasons for the price to drop. The main cause for the price to go fall is pretty obvious: because some investors decided to get rid of the stocks of this company. The fundamental analysis will help you understand why they decided to sell them. There can be a financial report or the company has just paid the dividends or something like that. Perhaps, there was some scandal in this company, still it is impossible to understand just watching the charts. Trading stocks implies making fundamental analysis along with the technical analysis. As for such stocks as Apple, you can do day trading, but you should be ready for the fact that the price will react to some news not in your favour, so you should understand your risks and secure them by pending orders.
The next thing I want to say is that you should avoid going short in the beginning. This operation requires proper risk and money management, so, start with buying stocks, it will be easier and more beneficial for you.

So what should they trade? Gasoline or GC futures?!?

OMG, you are a horrible mentor. What did YOU trade when you first started out in your empty apartment, in a bare room full of promise?

  4. Looks like it was meant to happen. Biocept holds negative signals. As it is within a wide and falling trend, it would be better if you don’t invest in it in the coming days and even weeks.
