I think I'm most concerned with the term "moron" and not surfer because I found myself to be equally insulted by your recent poll asking if Bernanke is a moron. So you see, perhaps itâs really not surfer and is just the term. I'm glad I was able to get this off my chest and can now move on with my life, no longer seeking psychosomatic help. Have a good one, T-man.
Regarding Bernanke, I still can't help but wonder if it is the poll itself or the poll results that you find troubling. I appreciate your concern with the term "moron." Personally, I am more put off by moronic conduct than the term that labels it. I wonder why it is that the conduct is less troubling to you than the label that identifies it. In any event, I'm glad I helped you get that off your chest, being the gentleman that I am. P.S. Psychosomatic? Pray tell, what physical symptoms were you displaying?
Are you referring to the poll in this thread? Or maybe you're joking or being sarcastic? I see your poll in this thread as 30 agree with you 44 disagree with you. I don't see a majority, let alone a overwhelming majority,(edit) agreeing with you
As with your delightful posts in the first few pages of this thread, you have once again amply demonstrated a deficit in your reading comprehension capabilities, and I urge you to seek remedial instruction. In time, and with the aid of a patient and capable tutor, you will learn that the poll results I referred to, in the post that you quoted, were in connection with another, unrelated poll. But I don't want to spoil your learning fun by giving too much away. Good luck! http://hooked-on-phonics.com/
At first. you were simply going Electric Savant on us. Now you've sunk to the depths of a Happaboy, with no bottom in sight. Prepare yourself for your next career. The current one, being a hack, is almost ended.
Thank you for underlining that passage in my post which you quoted. Do you not see the reference to marketsurfer in that very paragraph of mine that you quoted? I was referring to results regarding a poll about marketsurfer in that passage. It had nothing to do with the poll results in this thread. If you are going to intrude on an exchange that does not concern you, then you should at least do us the courtesy of reading and understanding the context before you succumb to your boilerplate platitudes. Autopilot ain't what it's cracked up to be, eh? Are you perhaps on medication?
I think our differences stem from what we are taking away from your polls. You see: ___% think ____ is a moron and I see something far more troublesome. For example, I KNOW Bernanke is NOT a moron, so to me the poll says more about the voters and the originator than it does about Bernanke. Same applies for marketsurfer. PS. Extreme soreness why thank you for asking. You see, ever since I got involved in this thread and recollected the moron one; I have been working out much harder. For this I shall thank you later. But today something inexplicable happened. I was on the treadmill watching CNBC. This was around 1:45PM. Normally, after 10-15minutes of running at 5.0, I kick it up to 7 for 15 minutes. Today, the anticipation of what will Dr. Ben do coupled with the moron thread had me so energized that I went up to 9.0 and instead of the typical 15 minutes, I ran like Forrest for 35 more minutes. Needless to say, I feel a bit overwhelmed, spending much of my time thinking about those who you consider to be morons.
How gratifying that I should have so meaningful an effect on you. As for Mr. Bernanke, let us remember one small point. Even those of us with laudable credentials, reasonably well-fitting suits and laser-trimmed beards are not above doing incomprehensibly stupid things.
If only you were a moderator, you could change the thread title to "Please ban Market Surfer. He debases every thread in which he participates." Then you'd be on topic all the time. Note to Baron: Tdog believes he can succeed where Electric Savant failed. Please give him the opportunity.
