The SNATCH doesn't build muscle, builds skill at the SNATCH The snatch doesn't build the CORE, whatever the F that is. You don' train your biceps isometrically.. why would you train your spinal muscles ISO???? that CORE CRAP is BS
I watched the video. He's not a great speaker. To me, he comes across as rather full of himself. In the video he says to train more than once a week and to do more than one set. When his web site was still up, I recall reading that he only worked out either once or twice a week for about 15-20 minutes at a time, if memory serves. I think he also advocated single sets in those pieces, but I might be wrong. His views in that video are somewhat different. I have pretty much embraced HIT, but I don't like the fact that some of its luminaries have attached themselves a bit too pathologically to Ayn Rand, who was a pathology in and of herself. And I don't even refer to Landau, but some of the more recognized names.
I wished... She totally messed up this week end in competition in what had started like an easy win. Quite a bit upset, especially that she seems now focusing on judges' mistakes rather than on flawed tactical choices (which imo gave a her a disadvantage towards the judges, need to have a discussion with her coach, yet we'd need a common language for that...). Getting to love Tkdo though, even kids manage spectacular fights. Seems pretty good to get strong abs as well.
