It's over. (except for the millions in wasted attorney fees to follow) Now that Flame realizes her outing broke no laws the obligatory frivolous suits will follow.

BTW: I was the only one who both KNEW and CALLED the fact that the outing was within legal bounds.

  3. The idea of lawsuits (including this one) is to let courts of law figure out what is and what is not within legal bounds, how can you possibly know what the court will decide, you are not clairvoyant by any stretch of imagination.

The whole legal system is a rigged F***ing joke, all you need is either (a) A lot of money or (b) a lot of power to turn things your way. I can tell you right now these lawsuits won't get too far. On another note, is'nt anybody a little bit curious why the Army put up all of Halliburtons contracts up for new bidding?

  6. There is no indictment in a civil case. OJ knows a lot about that, Karl, Cheney and Libby may soon find out too.

  7. There are a lot of precedents that government officials are immune from this type of lawsuit, provided the conduct occurred within the scope of their jobs. This case is not designed to win money but to force the defendants to plead that they were following official orders in talking about her. Plame's attorneys will try to pick up where Fitzpatrick left off in deposing administration officials and journalists.

It could backfire however if they are assigned to the wrong judge. The defendants are aslo entitled to extensive pretrail discovery and could reveal what a lying hypocrite Wilson is and his wife's misuse of her position.
