The quality of pizzas and others in Pizza Hut have been declining for sometimes so they decided to blame it on covid19? Okay
I think this situation has drastically affected many companies around the world. And it looks a little scary because I don't remember a time when the situation would have been so critical around the world and touched so many projects, businesses, etc. I think we have a lot of such news ahead of us, because the current situation does not give me any hope that everything will be fine in the near future. I think that all of us now just need to be more attentive and think carefully about every action in the market and in other business areas, because now every mistake will cost too much. So I just want to wish everyone good luck.
It's pretty interesting that this thread has brought out a few forward thinkers. Yes we do. Entire industries are being creatively destructed. This is in the beginning stages. AMZN wants to buy (bankrupt)AMC. Hollywood as a whole is in the crosshairs of creative destruction with that deal. Cruise lines in the water but unable to float their boats. Robotic check-in and other guest experiences are coming to a hotel, theme park, and event center near you very soon. AAL said this morning it's cash burn is only 35M a day (down from 100M) and that it is overstaffed by 20K people... PPP ends, sorry. No need to discuss retail trade or commercial real estate here. And some are worried about the trillions in stimulus.... it's merely a partial replacement of whats been lost. It doesn't come close to what is needed. Wuhan Virus will be the scapegoat for earnings. And the deeper problems will be seen. Wall Street is projecting 6 to 9 months in the future, just like they did in 2007. I trade long and short, to hell with their projections. O&G, food commodities, taxes, and the workings (or not workings as is the case) on 5 (of 6) other continents have an equal place in this conversion as well. Have a nice day.
diannageorge, yeah, I still remember dozen of their restaurants all over our country. But this can happen with any kind of restaurant, especially during all these quarantine restrictions. Talking of which, I've recently found this website from St. Louis Bar and Grill, where they have collected the basics information about how to operate a sports bar & grill. Although it's mostly basic information, but still pretty useful to read.
