Pivots Working Nicely

  1. Another day where the S1 ( 978.50 ) and the R1 ( 992.25 ) may out the morning lows and highs.

Reverse of yesterday, which also found resistance at the R1 and support at the S2.

  2. When volume is low and locals have the last word, perhaps Pivot Levels work best.

    Gotta love the Pivots!
I agree they work best on these sleepy dog days of summer.

  4. Agreed -- and R1 very close to yesterday's high. Was long from the AM and jumped out w/ nice gain as spoos approached the 992 level.

  5. Check out www.capitalberkeley.com for a system based on the same idea --trading the pivots on slow days. I don't think it's one of their public systems, but I know two guys who use it out here (probably a private deal or something) and it's worked well in the past few months. Don't know the long-term performance on it though, sorry.
